Funny...but I think it's fake too...not even addressing the infrared argument...the way the gas exits suggests that there's absolutely no barrier between his a-hole and the outside world. Combine that with the fact that it says "white" in the top right corner and you can tell it's definitely white hot. Given how dark the gas was, it would have to be something pretty damn cold. Several reasons why this is fake:

1: Methane does NOT absorb infrared, it just blocks (reflects it). The fart itself is hot, EMITTING infrared.

2: No matter how powerfuly a fart may be expelled, it would be diffused and dispersed by the pants. In this video, it is coming out in a perfect spray. Even in your ass was bare, it would seep out and rise.

3: Even though methane in more dense than air, because it is hot, it would rise for a short period.

So yes, this gas that is being expelled is cold. It is some type of aerosol. Maybe compressed air for cleaning computers, maybe hairspray. Any of those would com out cold. All compressed gasses being released from a can will get cold. That is how the physics of a compressed gas works. Farts are NOT compressed.

It's obvious it's fake because the video seems to be in W/Hot (white = hot), and the "fart cloud" comes out as black (i.e cold). Unless he's been storing Liquid Oxygen in his small intestene. (a common problem where i come from) - the fart would be GREY. not jet BLACK. Gullable freaks whoever thinks this is real.
