waterproof mascara is great. Its easy to get off if you use a good eye makeup remover. And no, it doesnt come off when you cry, I go swimming with it on

i like waterproof because you'll end up smudging regular mascara when your eyes tear (when it's windy outside for example).

jus finished putting mine on while watching the video.. it works!! i didnt curl my lashes b4 put i still got the same result. and oh so true about the waterproof mascara it takes me 4eva to take off. but Vaseline is the trick

And if you REALLY don't want to carry glue and fix a fallen strip while you're out, at least take a small liner pencil/tube/etc to repair damage from where the glue PROBABLY pulled off spots of eyeliner.

i noticed that you had your eyeliner on before you put the lashes. would you be able to put on eyeliner after the lashes are stuck on? for example, gel liner with a brush wouldn't be too bad right? just to blend it in and make the lashes not so obvious?

well, usually dollar store eyelashes aren't very good quality. it doesn't mean you have to spend a fortune on eyelashes, but i usually get the Quo brand from shoppers drug mart for around 12 dollars, or sometimes a higher value brand from sephora for around 25 dollars

I have to disagree with the comment ''don't buy waterproof mascara...it runs anyway...it's so hard to take off'' . I have been using it forever, not because i fear crying of sweating, but because I laugh a lot, and when I do, my eyes get very watery. It takes only 5 minutes to take it off with olive oil based eye makeup remover(or even olive oil alone). I rather spend long (5 minutes!!!) taking it off, then looking like an @ss after a good laugh!
