Im a young man seeking advice in many thinks wondering what to do with my life..... i want to persue art or just grow up using my innate talent to draw but lately ive been sucking can you give me some tips on how to draw comic style art
wow, great job. I wish I could draw like that. I noticed the middle finger and thumb were used to hold the pen while drawing. That's intense. I should practice that out
Truly phenomenal, how do you get the sharpey to not soak into the paper and create blots? I'm guessing it's the way you hold the pen? Is that true? I usually use Sakura brand inking pens they don't soak into paper no matter how much you apply, but shit if Sharpies can work I would save a lot of money
ok spawn is a supernatural demon ok he was once a human but he was betrayed and killed and he was a hired killer ok so he went to hell and he met the devil and n return for agreeing to lead the devils army he could go back to earth and see his wife but he was a hidious monster under his mask because he was burned and that how he died. ok now he has a magical cape that he can control to do anything and the same with those chains! and he is ploting to stop the devil! he is a comic book character!!
my favorites are dragon ball z and spawn but i have never seen a single comic of spawn other than the movie and the hbo specials i dont know where to get the magazines if anyone knows please tell me.
You can find Spawn in any good comic book store. And by the way, there is a lot of great comic books. Like Sin City or The killing joke. If you like manga style you can go for Gunnm.
ok, i am a freaking HUUUUGGEEE fan of Spawn, absolutly my favorite comic EVER. and to see you do something this good is just amazing. well well well done my friend.
a very excellent drawing, seems you've been drawing for years, I too draw, maybe at a lower level of your work but I guess you can say I'm a good drawer. anyway, excellent work, very impressive.
WOW!! you started drawing spawn without a pencil sketch?! thats awesome ! you rock dude! . btw . when im drawing, im having a hard time drawing a hand, can you give me some tips please? .
although a great drawing nonetheless, as a critic i have to judge your use of three dimensional space. making spawns cape and chains lash out at the viewer as they do in mcfarlane and capullo's work. but an otherwise awesome job. double kudos to you for working in sharpie, i would love to see some work by you in pen/colored pencil/colored inks/or maybe some digital work. keep up the awesome work. oh and TELL ME IF UR ON DEVIANT ART!!!!!!!!
Very nice job mate. Big fan of Spawn, been since I got my very first Spawn comic here in Sweden '96. Sure Greg is abit better but I don't think he does his drawings in 10minutes (and you did the old school Spawn)
dude thats awesome ive been tryin to draw spawn like that in forever. ur so lucky how u got those skills. just awesome dude.spawn and spiderman are my fav comics and u drew then both of them so perfect. i hope some of ur expertise rubs onto me
Excellent work bro, drawing is fun isn't it, especially when u know what your doing lol. i also am an upcoming artist and want to make it a career. but unfortuantely only do it as a hobby right now, excellent work man u inspired me even more.
i am shocked,i got chills watching the completion of the drawing, any tips on how you got better at drawing like on shadowing, straight lines, curves, eyes, capes etc oh and i usually only use pencils,is it any different doing it with ink?sorry if im asking too much is just that i got pumped up watching your spawn drawing.thanks again and take care.
I pencil the art first, when I am doing the work for something other than a drawing video. The main difference with inking without pencilling first is making sure the first line is the right line, or close to it. If I make a mistake with an all-ink drawing, I can sometimes work it out, or into the drawing, but it can be tricky. I'm afraid I'm not really good at explaining things, though. Basically, with shadows pay attention to lighting, with textures, pay attention to weight of line...
you are such a great drawer you need a job at marvel or DC or somewhere like that i know people and i have said htis before but you really do! and please post some more drawing vids!
you my friend who is not really my friend put all the greatest comic book artists to shame you are an equall to mcfarlane him self. you are the greatest artist in the world. by the way you are awsome by drawing my favorit comic book character with a sharpy marker. i am not worthy of looking at your greatness
