@adiostraitorobama I agree. You are either guilty or not and there is nothing in between. I never said anything otherwise. You, however, said that he is innocent and you should never punish the innocent. I said that he is not altogether that innocent.
Tough case. I would have voted the kid guilty since he either did commit the murder or had the shittiest luck on the face of the planet in all of history. Everything was against him: his record, him buying a switchblade, him not remembering a single title of a movie he saw on the day of the murder (ridiculous; he has no alibi), him screaming "I'm gonna kill you." I'm sorry, but he had had it coming. He was guilty. In real life this trial would only go one way.
@adiostraitorobama but the point is still that the kid was guilty. there should have been a mistrial when Fonda went out and bought that knife. that is what would have happened in real life.
Marshall WAS cbs radio mysteries: when tammy grimes took over near the last I stopped listening. He made that show. It was one of the best ever on radio.
When I was a kid growing up in Erie (hence the screen name ErieBoy62 ) I used to listento E.G. Marshall at night in my bed on "Radio Mystey Theater", with "Tales from the macrabre". Good stuff.

Juror #4 is my favorite one. Very calm analytical man.

EG made the movie. Unbelievably solid throughout and just plain savvy.

Henry Fonda is a left wing liberal in this flick. That kid was guilty and killed his father.

Agreed
If I see this movie on as I surf, the channel is not changed again until it is over.
This is one of "those" movies.
