Even if C02 really CAN absorb infra-red light then we now see an extreme global cooling. The effects of C02 is proved by reality to be = Zero! I´m SO TIRED of this "GLOBAL BULLSHIT"!!!

You know the Earth Emits IR to try to shed the energy it absorbed from the Sun.

Thus more CO2 will absorb more of that IR - and when it reradiates it - half goes back down and the planet warms.

So you "reality" must be that of Science Fiction where you make stuff up. If you are tired of BS quit adding to it and accept the facts or post your counter arguments and we'll see how well they hold up under intense scruteny.

Where does the Earth try to radiate away most of the energy that it gets from the Sun? (hint: between 6 and 40 microns)

So is CO2 a greenhouse gas? (hint: yes)

Did you get all 3 answers correct? If so, you now know that CO2 is a greenhouse gas.

So lets get this straight, scientists measure the absorption spectrum of CO2 in the Infrared. They calculate what it should be from the physics of the vibrational states of the CO2 molecule & the two agree to many significant decimal places in wavenumber.

They also measure the spectrum emmitted by the Earth and can calculate it using black (gray) body theory & they agree.

Yet you, in your infinite wisdom, know better than to believe the data, the theory, the experts. That's some ego!

Yes, Western Europe was unusually cold, so was Russia and it was not too warm here in the Eastern US but there is a reason why they call GLOBAL warming.

While you were freezing your nuts off, Canada and Greenland were setting record highs.

So was most of S. America, Northern Africa, Middle East, China, & Australia

The oceans, with the exception of the antarctic, were way above normal temperature. There is a lot more ocean than land

I think that making clean energy is a good thing to do for the future. If the deniers are false we will have big problems (and will not be prepaired for a changing climate) in the future, if the greenist are wrong we will have renewable energy and oil independance.

Even if what he says about the data uncertainty is true (which it isn't) then all he can say is that the GW case is not proven, not that it is wrong. Just as the case he makes is not proven.

The fact that he claims GW may not as solid as claimed does not mean that the opposite case is correct. At best he has brought a draw and at worst they are still right.

You cannot claim both warming and cooling trends are both valid evidence for global warming.
