omg, so much unconquered and pure planets! I shudder the day that we find a way past the Milky Way...we'd kill everything if we had the chance.
Plus, religion is only customary to our planet. All the prophets and important religious figures were human and the holy lands only existed on this planet. But, if we travel to another planet there is no shred of evidence of ANY of the Earth's religions. It's purely man-made.

@mrMACHINAX if god exist why did he make most people in history ignorant to his existence and those who have heard of your god beleive in another one or none? I
Obviously immaturity has become the underlying principle for both atheists and religious bigots. I don't know what there is evidence for, except your ignorance. SHUT UP ALREADY! NO ONE KNOWS EITHER WAY! We can't physically use our senses to detcect the existence of God, nor does that automatically mean he doesn't exist. We can't directly observe our beginnings, if there were any, therefore, shut your pie hole before I shut it for you! Every body just sit back and watch the video!
@katandann We can't use our senses to detect anything phony, fake, or imaginary like unicorns, spaghetti monsters, deities, gods, etc. and their lack of evidence doesn't make them any more likely. Deities, "God" included, is simply a stupid viral meme that propagates via the ignorant masses. There is no truth to religion hence it's foundation on faith. There is no question, there simply is no evidence of any god or any supernatural activity in the universe. So until you have evidence, STFU!
Faith gives access to reason of God. That is why it is not the matter of guessing. Faith is matter of knowledge and reason of God himself. Not believe God and Jesus is the most stupid thing in the world. Not believe is domain of devil. Yes, many devils this time in the world. Devil is the liar. You can see many people deceived by him. Look how many fathers and mothers kill their conceived children. Laws allow make babies on glass to kill them later. Lawless laws and lawless mass media of hell.
they do not seem to get that those movies are for discussion about the cosmic objects, not about the spirituality that it represents (<<god)
so its fine that you believe, and its good for "YOU" that you define him as a human (which god isnt and he will never represent himself to be human, because humans are stupid and god isnt)
if its the best course of thinking? no...its very bad.
but ill leave you to it. Just dont decide to post your phrases on these kind of vids. theyre not worth it
has endured many corruptive eras. Even the president shares false intelligence these days. Just imagine how much the roman emperor lied about.
but yet, theres some people, that are or indoctrined, or have been teached with the wrong intelligence from birth.
what really amazes me is that the heavens account to the place where god lives. So that sparks the interest of many believers to come over here to share their holy knowledge on space, science related documentaries or animations.
believe in god, you believe in the people that wrote it. So then we basically end up with jesus christ. He was a big participant in the intelligence the book came with trough 2 centuries up to now.
jesus christ, the descendant of god................................................
so you believe in the man that wrote the book.
ah, so JK rowling must then be the descendant of god.
i believe in god, as what he may spiritually represent. Not for what history says it is. because history
its a book that writes about god, trough human perspective. Djees, its written by humans after all. So by worshipping a believe, your not worshipping god, your worshipping a human book.
What is the next thing we'll do. Worship harry potter? maybe voldemort is a god.
for many believers that example makes no sense. but it is very true and not ment to sound funny at all.
Its a book written by humans, and ancient humans would miracously carry the word of god....SOMEHOW????
A holy books writes about a believe in god. A believe, that many followers take for granted. Yesterday i saw a speech by the president obama. Most presidents define their politics incorrect. In fact, if i would survey a presidents speech, i think i coud write down, 10 wrongly defined statements.
the presidential speech took about 30minutes.
The christian bible exists over 2000years rather then 30minutes.
How much wrongly defined and corruptive passages might i encounter in the bible.
Do not DEAR to kill your unborn child. If you do, you will die with him and your life will become hell on earth. Have mercy on him and on you and on the father of him. If you do, the father of your child will be already in hell and you will join him after your death. But your child will be with God and you will be not. You will be together with the father of your child in hell. If you DO you will regret for all eternity. If you DO would be better not to be born at all, and father not to be born
You can hardly go and see any cosmology, astronomy, physics, biology, or indeed any science video, without constantly seeing all this silly, ignorant, god bothering and bible thumping rubbish.
The arrogance is almost too much to credit. To imagine the whole universe was created JUST FOR US, on this tiny insignificant speck is astonishingly blinkered.
God is. God is Creator from nothingness of all reality. God revealed himself in Jesus, The only Word of the Father. God is Catholic. God is three Catholics Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God, Son of the Father started his Catholic Church. God is really present in the Eucharist. God loves you. God is you purpose. God is your the only choice. God is your happiness. God will judge you and all your choices. God is allowing you to do your own choices, but, what are your choices?Don't kill unborn child.
They didnt discover shit. They did not have the technology nor the intelligence. They just wrote down nonsense. and people 1400 years later still believe it. /facepalm.
Planet8888,,, you are presenting quran as if it was a person doing this on its own. The son does not orbit the milky way you moron, sun is inside the milky way along with the entire solar system on the 3rd arm of the milky way. By the way did quran say anything about sleeping with the 6 years old child like Aisha?
Hello, you wrote " the sun is moving around the Milky Way " May be what you're trying to say is the sun is moving around INSIDE the Milky Way but not around the Milky Way.
What I wrote is "moving around the milky way BULGE". Of course it's inside the milky way, no stars are born completely isolated. But it's revolving every 200 millions years. So the sun is actually orbiting the milky way, like every other planet is orbiting the solar system
Sorry for the delay,,, I think when you use the word ORBIT, it means that it is on the outside. You know that there is another Galaxy right now that is orbiting the Milky Way? I could say it in the wrong way but orbit is on the outside. Talk to you latter.
@JasonNotoLLC I was referring to the literal Coca-Cola version of santa though, where he rides around in a magical sleigh hauled by reindeer and grants gifts to the nice children.

yes i still believe in god, why? because everything u typed is YOUR translation of christianity, not the truth,i think u should investigate christianity BEFORE you go and start preaching that its all bullshit
@thatguyoverthere45 you took that from George Carlin comedy act, RIP btw. Can you imagine yourself in pain? like a real pain laying in a bed? people tend to remember their gods when they r suffering. Test youself in the heat then become a inteligent atheist
@thatguyoverthere45 If your going to make a FACTor opinion- great.DONT COMBINE THE TWO! You focus on one side of the story and fail to tell the other side... HE sent his son to save us! Hedoesnt want us in hell! ALL IT TAKES IS FAITH & ABOUT 5 SECONDS OF PRAYER!--whats so hard about that-God makes it pretty easy for us to escape Hell!
@Jeenyus1983 Your "god" doesn't exist. Snap out of your delusion. You are not a "special creation" of some magical invisible being. You are an insignificant speck in the universe. Completely meaningless and unimportant. And when you die, nothing will happen. The universe will not care. You are, after all, a speck. That is the reality of the situation, as bleak as it is. The sooner you accept it, the sooner you can appreciate and get on with your life.
@thatguyoverthere45 Religion did not convince me of the existence of God, simple logic and reasoning did. If you look at a cell phone I asked you where it came from, you'd answer a store, and before that, a factory. The fact that you never saw the person who made it does not mean they do not exist. Actually, the very existence of a thing proves the existence of its maker. No one would ever believe that a cell phone came into existence without a maker, so how about the heavens and the earth?
@pathofthesalaf You know, I'm sorry about that comment, and now I wish I could take it down. I realize now that I was an ignorant fuck a year ago, (and I also got that of George Carlin). I respect that people have beliefs now, but I still don't believe it myself.
@pathofthesalaf And regarding the cell phone thing, I believe it was through more physical means. Creation of matter through the big bang (I'll agree that there may be a few flaws), we spawned over time, we mined the ores, refined them, shaped them, and built them into tech. And I apply that to everything. The computer I'm using, the desk I'm sitting at, the headphones I have on, etc. I just look at the world more realistically, instead of seeing it ALL created by an omnipotent being.
@thatguyoverthere45 "I just look at the world more realistically" Really? Because last time I checked everything effect has a cause, including the "Big Bang" to which you attribute our existence. Also, since when does a massive explosion (which is by its nature, 'chaotic') create order? Its as if you were to ask me to believe that your car came about as a result of a tornado sweeping through a junkyard. So how could non-living matter turn into living beings without the existence of a Creator?
@pathofthesalaf Okay, lets just drop it, mate. I don't feel like getting into a debate now, especially not on Youtube. Believe in God and Jesus. I won't try to stop you. You go your way, and I'll go mine... figuratively speaking. lol
@thatguyoverthere45 Regarding the Big Bang the Creator says, "Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?" Quran 21:30
And said, "And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are EXPANDING IT." 51:47
Modern science has proven that the universe is expanding, which implies it having a beginning which necessitates the existence of a Creator.
@pathofthesalaf Necessitates, implies? gee just cause you use little nifty words doesnt mean your opinion is intelligent.. and no the universe isnt expanding actually and if it was it would be impossible to know the universe is forever, which is far far far longer then some book that has started wars and killed thousand of civilizations to force its words upon people by the people that created it..
God is an unconditional omnipotent omnipresent omniscient being of light energy and love. Transcend duality to understand "God". God is yin and yang, good and evil. All religions at there core all preach LOVE (GOD). Don't listen to your ego, open your mind, close your eyes, look within, you will find a different self, peace of mind and discover your own truth. I love you.
@wjfox2006 "Imagination is more powerful then knowledge" - Albert Einstein - God is beyond rational understanding, ego, and thought. I recommend you try meditation. Your thoughts won't lead you closer to God. Your ego tries to demystify reality and understand the universe in mental concepts but it will only fail. God is beyond mind, so imagination is useful.
@wjfox2006 Thats an ignorant statement and you know it. Maybe you don't like religion but face the fact that some people are willing to die for it. Some people consider God an actual person, one that they're really close to. Some consider him an actual Father/Mother,Brother/sister, and friend. I've also seen some atheists hold their beliefs very close to heart, and those atheist were awesome in my eyes even though my belief is in a personal God.
@SilverfangX777 That doesn't really answer my question. Some people consider Thor or Zeus, or even the Sun and Earth as actual people. These Gods have the same amount of evidence (i.e. none) as the God of Christianity or Islam, or any other religion. Why should I respect that delusion?
I respect PEOPLE - but I don't have to respect their BELIEFS, which are their CHOICE, and based on zero evidence.
And btw, atheism is specifically defined as an *absence* of belief.
@wjfox2006 I know I've never said atheism is a religion, Its still a belief that there is no god. I know I didn't answer your question, and maybe I worded my last statement wrong. No you don't have to respect their beliefs if you don't want to, but blatantly telling them their beliefs are completely a myth is hardly what I call respecting someone. Oh and there is proof of god, I'm no scientists, but PM me if you want any details. There are some good arguments on both side.
@Lormear dood god is soo not unconditional i fucking hate omnipotent omnopresent omnisent gods their cocky and have big ego's he gets pissed off so he kills people and says that he loves us fuck that I like reading other books learning real stuff not bullshit created to control societys
@ShelcoKillsVegas your speaking of the 'God' depicted in the Old Testament. That's not at all what I'm talking about. Open your mind to what I'm actually saying. The network of light connecting us the stars the galaxys, the energy connecting us all, the universe and it's creative expression including all evil and good doing on Earth is simply an expression of the one source, the big bang, or the infinite God being. Love =)
quit being an ego-centric monkey! There is a bigger picture I'm suggesting you stir into your cheerios in the morning, it's something like the matrix. If you hate it you can suck on my tit its freedom of speech =)
I don't eat cheerios in the morning. It's kind of annoying to go to just ONE space video, and have a preacher lurking the comments section. We don't want to read a bunch of religion stuff, we're here to watch a video!
@fieryhand It is even worse when there are idiots disrespecting each others beliefs. YUUR GOING TO HELLZ VS GOD IZ A FERRY TAIL. I'm christian and I hate this debate crap every time I go to a space video.
I really hope to whatever god may exist, that one day, humans will be spread out across the galaxy like in Isaac Asimov's Foundation. Galactic Empire, here we come.
sooo small that no alien will give a damn to visit us .... but that ufos you saw at roswell was basically a drunk teenage alien. pleez for the saftey of our galaxy ... do not operate a ufo under the influence... thank u sincerly , the galaticons
and anytime my dad told me we're smaller than a grain of sand on the beach i always thought he was bluffing. or greatly exaggerating. hmmmm.. that kinda sucks that we are so small. and i'm even smaller lol shows the insignificance of us. im not too happy bcuz shows how far we are as a human race from conquering the galaxy. and i always wished for our early progression being the best species that there is.:D. in my opinion.
I would agree that space colonization would be a wondrous step forward in the human 'empire'. However as it is now we have a difficult enough time trying to not destroy one another on this planet alone. :P
but we are an extremely intelligent species. you agree??. and we'll get over our differences eventually we are just learnin. we are a work of art in progress. we have conquered earth so we'll advance and move on wen we see the bigger picture. i gotta say tho that we are the most intelligent in the world and arguably our galaxy which is pretty darn amazing so we'll make it there.
Flyingv747 your religion didn't introduce science, science existed long before all around the world (for exemple china civilization). Islam didn't introduce science, that's just what religious said, they attribute discovery at this time to islam. However historian which are not Muslim show it was not the case. Then a "theory" is take for the truth until you prove it's not.
Science and Religion are really just speculation. Sure we have "scientific evidence" for certain theories, but the way I look at it is life is very strange and everyone else knows only as much as I do. An atom could very well be a Solar System in a smaller Universe. Our Solar System could be an atom to people larger than our "reality". All I'm saying is no one truly knows, and I think religion is bullshit and science is incomplete. Think for yourselves... Think of your own theories.... :)
maybe there is maybe there isnt. but if you look at all the extremely unlikely events that took place to allow us to exist at all, with an open mind, it is possible that some form of higher inteligence was in place.
I see coincidences in Darwinism, that could possibly lead to design, but to be honest, I think we're just the result of what happens when certain chemicals mix.
It does seems a primitive concept to worship a great being in the sky , Maybe whatever is behind the creation of the universe and life within it is merely physics but i think its fair to say we just dont know and our puny brains probably couldnt understand it anyway.
I agree. Seriously, how can you believe some "God" create human... DAMN, Big bang make no sense for believer?
... Well if God created us... Who created God?
I hope one day all religion will vanish... That day we will be so much better... Only then they will realize that you have ONE and only ONE life ( no afterlife).
If you deny creator (God) , then think for a while and ask yourself what were you before you were created?
Universe is called COSMOS, not CHAOS. If you deny God then you have to accept that Universe came through CHAOS.
And if it CHAOS then it would never happen again, but we know many new Galaxies are born.
Creator is the one who creates, but he is not created. Its beyond a human mind to comprehend, but denying creator based on argument that "Who created him"? is ignorance.
"based on the argument that "Who created him"? is ignorance. "
Sounds like a good question to me. If god has always existed, then on that logic you can argue the universe may have always existed (i.e no creation, no end).
We're all ignorant mate, and to claim otherwise just adds arrogance to our already long list of flaws.
It's not ignorance.I don't see why if I deny god, I should also deny Cosmos(order/determinism/predictability), even in Chaos cosmos can exist when Chaos reach a stability state for some time...
Chaos don't mean that it will not happen again, it means unpredictability/disorder/aleatory so yes it could happen again or not... The fact is we don't know, we don't have yet the knowledge, but for me one thing is sure: There is no God, ancient civilization or species leaved without him and I also can.
How can you attribute orderly function of everything to Chaos?. Human beings are born everyday and this process is repeated, so is this Chaos or orderly function? How can order come from disorder. So we come to a logical conclusion that there is clever power behind this orderly function. Deny the clever power behind this function is turning away from the truth.
If we accept your theory of "No God" then and we stop ourselves of knowledge and fall into ignorance which leads to THEORY of evolution
Told you already that Cosmos can exist in Chaos. yes I do agree whit theory of evolution. Now stop saying "ignorance" and making false logic chain. Believing in the fact that god doesn't exist bring knowledge, when you believe in God you just stay in ignorance: you don't try to understand unexplained phenomenons ( I invite you to read about the "Dark Age" period in Europe and the change of focus from God to human reason, which lead to the "Enlightenment" period, for instance). -Dare to know-
To say "Cosmos can exist in Chaos" is like saying order will come from disorder. If something is happening over and over again then it is NOT chaos. Random things happen randomly they don't repeat themselves and follow logical sequence of events.
Coming to dark age period in Europe. What caused it to go through that? where did the order (Cosmos) come from if everyone was ignorant, had it not been for Islam they and others would still be in dark. Read quran with scientific mind and debunk it.
Yeah, who created the creator? And who created the creator or the creator of the creator...? There must be a beginning at some point because if we say we say it has always existed, where is the beginning and why did he suddenly decided to create the universe?
How do you know? Did your god come down from the heavens and tell you that he has always existed?
It's ridiculous that you think some "being" has always existed, but you completely ridicule the idea of the universe having always existed. It's ignorance like that that made me leave my former religion, and rebuke it.
So you're basing the existence of your creator off of stories that were written by mere humans a few thousand years ago.
Different cultures used to attribute a god to every phenomena. There was a god that made the wind blow, a god of fire, a god that made the sun rise. Yet now that we know how these things work, our culture has rejected the notion of these gods.
Tell me, if we figure out exactly how the universe was formed, what then will you attribute to your god?
See the thing with religion is that it is not a science. There is no way to prove or disprove anything. Just because you think somethings there doesn't mean you're right. I've asked the god christians follow to show himself, perform a miracle, to show any sign of his existence, including killing me. And god never has, and never will.
You can prove nothing. I can look at the tide come in and say oh that's just the god of tides doing that. And you have no way of disproving that.
What makes pagan gods any less right than the notion of one god. How have you disproved the idea that there are gods performing every miracle we see?
You haven't. You can't. Because it's just an idea. Just like your god. Ideas can't be tested, and that's why they have no place in science. Religion does not belong in science text books. Religion has done nothing but slow the progression of man.
You see, sometimes there are questions we don't know the answer to so we use the scientific method, and make a hypothesis on a theory. If the theory survives rigorous testing, and seems to answer the question, we publish it. When published, peers test the theory by either duplicating the experiment or work themselves. If the theory survives the peer review, and it seems to always apply in nature, it may become a law. There are many theories on the universe that are being tested and reviewed.
It used to be a belief that gods did everything. But, through science, we were able to actually find out what was really happening. Science is ever-evolving, and admits when it is flawed and wrong. Religion isn't. And that's why religion has fought science kicking and screaming through out time. Religion came about to make people feel better about the things they don't know, and in some instances to make afraid of what they don't know.
Want to know how the tide comes in? God did it. Want your kid to not have pre-marital sex? Tell them god will send them to hell. See, isn't that easy? So, to answer your question, let me say that I don't know. Nobody does. We might never know, but to say some god did it would be lazy, and it would literally stop the expansion of the knowledge of man. If you want to know what science is putting forth as possible theories of the creation of the universe, go read a science book, not a fairy tale.
it's not lazy to say that God did it if you fully believe in him and you truly live the way He wants you to. It's not easy living your life for God; I try to do it all the time and I fail most of the time. There's nothing lazy about fully believing in God because living God's way comes with His territory.
Religion was created to make people feel better about what they don't know. We don't know why we're here, how we got here, and where we are going. A long time ago that was scary to people. Hell even today, although more subconscious, it can scare people. And that is the only reason religion exists. The shear thought that you're not special, we're one of billions of planets with life on it, and that chaos governs the universe is too radical of an idea for some. So they find solace in their god.
look, friend. everything in this universe had a beginning. Stars, planets, black holes, galaxies, everything. And you're trying to tell me it started with nothing and just began with nothing? nothing creates nothing, simple as that. As a Roman Catholic, I agree with a good bit of what science says about how old the universe is or how the earth came to be. But, this all started with something. Some huge source of energy had to be there in the beginning in order to start this. GOD!
What I'm trying to tell you is that god is not the answer to all of life's questions. But more importantly, it is the answer to none of the questions of science.
if you truly believe this, then you are the same way I was 4 years ago. If you search for answers with ignorance, then you will recieve nothing. Keep an open mind, friend, and you will find what you've really been looking for. I'm always here to listen and talk about these topics.
This is stupid so you say that universe come from God To avoid an alternative answer to the come from "nothing".
First we don't have the answer to this, maybe there was something before.
Second, so as i said earlier. If God made the universe, who made God... Wait... nothing you say?... oh That make so much more sense.....
Is it so hard to use your damn reason and say to yourself:" I don't know the answer, because we don't have the knowledge yet" This is "having an open mind. "
an open mind is believing in something that you is hard and sometimes almost impossible to prove even with the best methods. you can gripe about what made the universe all you want; it won't change anyone's minds and finding this proof that a greater being doesn't exist is just plain ignorance. why are you people so afraid of being the lesser form of life? is there some pride issue going on that i'm not aware of?
No this is not being open mind. Open mind is accepting and considering alternative. Wich you don't do. The one who is realy afraid here is you... You fear so much death and the unknown that you close your mind to any alternative by beliving in a so called "God". It's a pity that you have been brainwashed whit this idea... What i hate above all is the fact that you said that WE are ignorant... as usual believer think that they are above everyone... You still didn't answer to me who created God?
this is a belief i chose for myself. i had no help in the matter. i fear no death or any unknown because i have a higher being to rely on. i am above no one, but my God is much higher than you will ever be. God is everlasting, nothing created God. science says that there had to be an eternal energy that always existed to start the big bang or anything for that matter. so there you have it. and yes, you are ignorant, but i never said i was above you. dont make look like i'm a criminal.
agreed, this is going nowhere. thank you for realizing that, because i'm way too stubborn to stop. and you are right. only in death will we know the answer.
It's lazy to always attribute any phenomenon or event to God. You just don't try to explain it-> for example :"then why don't you tell me how this enormous infinite universe came to be?" if you said is god will, you won't try to answer this question. So if you don't believe in God, you will 1) say that we don't know if the universe is infinite or not. 2) try to understand the beginning of the universe.
"God" is just an human invention that was useful at one time for social stability.
you can rant on about how religion is so different from science, but if you don't have the answer to this, then you have nothing to prove against any religious people. If you have no answer, you have no point.
omg, so much unconquered and pure planets!

Armigo91 1 year ago
believe in god, you believe in the people that wrote it.
Armigo91 1 year ago
its a book that writes about god, trough human perspective.
Its a book written by humans, and ancient humans would miracously carry the word of god....SOMEHOW????
so you dont
Armigo91 1 year ago

Planet8888,,, you are presenting quran as if it was a person doing this on its own. The son does not orbit the milky way you moron, sun is inside the milky way along with the entire solar system on the 3rd arm of the milky way. By the way did quran say anything about sleeping with the 6 years old child like Aisha?
c1cter 2 years ago
the sun, actually, is moving around the milky way bulge, like most of the stars.

Hello, you wrote " the sun is moving around the Milky Way " May be what you're trying to say is the sun is moving around INSIDE the Milky Way but not around the Milky Way.
c1cter 2 years ago 3
Hello you..
What I wrote is "moving around the milky way BULGE". Of course it's inside the milky way, no stars are born completely isolated. But it's revolving every 200 millions years. So the sun is actually orbiting the milky way, like every other planet is orbiting the solar system
supergiuovane 2 years ago
Sorry for the delay,,, I think when you use the word ORBIT, it means that it is on the outside. You know that there is another Galaxy right now that is orbiting the Milky Way? I could say it in the wrong way but orbit is on the outside. Talk to you latter.

No one would ever believe that a cell phone came into existence without a maker, so how about the heavens and the earth?
pathofthesalaf 1 year ago
@pathofthesalaf You know, I'm sorry about that comment, and now I wish I could take it down. I realize now that I was an ignorant fuck a year ago, (and I also got that of George Carlin). I respect that people have beliefs now, but I still don't believe it myself.
thatguyoverthere45 1 year ago
@pathofthesalaf And regarding the cell phone thing, I believe it was through more physical means. Creation of matter through the big bang (I'll agree that there may be a few flaws), we spawned over time, we mined the ores, refined them, shaped them, and built them into tech. And I apply that to everything. The computer I'm using, the desk I'm sitting at, the headphones I have on, etc. I just look at the world more realistically, instead of seeing it ALL created by an omnipotent being.
thatguyoverthere45 1 year ago
@thatguyoverthere45 "I just look at the world more realistically" Really? Because last time I checked everything effect has a cause, including the "Big Bang" to which you attribute our existence. Also, since when does a massive explosion (which is by its nature, 'chaotic') create order? Its as if you were to ask me to believe that your car came about as a result of a tornado sweeping through a junkyard. So how could non-living matter turn into living beings without the existence of a Creator?
pathofthesalaf 1 year ago
@pathofthesalaf Okay, lets just drop it, mate. I don't feel like getting into a debate now, especially not on Youtube. Believe in God and Jesus. I won't try to stop you. You go your way, and I'll go mine... figuratively speaking. lol
thatguyoverthere45 1 year ago
@thatguyoverthere45 Regarding the Big Bang the Creator says, "Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?" Quran 21:30
And said, "And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are EXPANDING IT." 51:47
Modern science has proven that the universe is expanding, which implies it having a beginning which necessitates the existence of a Creator.
pathofthesalaf 1 year ago
@pathofthesalaf Necessitates, implies? gee just cause you use little nifty words doesnt mean your opinion is intelligent.. and no the universe isnt expanding actually and if it was it would be impossible to know the universe is forever, which is far far far longer then some book that has started wars and killed thousand of civilizations to force its words upon people by the people that created it..

SilverfangX777 7 months ago
@SilverfangX777 And why is religion so deserving of respect? Please explain.
wjfox2006 7 months ago
@wjfox2006 Thats an ignorant statement and you know it. Maybe you don't like religion but face the fact that some people are willing to die for it. Some people consider God an actual person, one that they're really close to. Some consider him an actual Father/Mother,Brother/sister, and friend. I've also seen some atheists hold their beliefs very close to heart, and those atheist were awesome in my eyes even though my belief is in a personal God.
SilverfangX777 7 months ago
@SilverfangX777 That doesn't really answer my question. Some people consider Thor or Zeus, or even the Sun and Earth as actual people. These Gods have the same amount of evidence (i.e. none) as the God of Christianity or Islam, or any other religion. Why should I respect that delusion?
I respect PEOPLE - but I don't have to respect their BELIEFS, which are their CHOICE, and based on zero evidence.
And btw, atheism is specifically defined as an *absence* of belief.
wjfox2006 7 months ago
@wjfox2006 I know I've never said atheism is a religion, Its still a belief that there is no god. I know I didn't answer your question, and maybe I worded my last statement wrong. No you don't have to respect their beliefs if you don't want to, but blatantly telling them their beliefs are completely a myth is hardly what I call respecting someone. Oh and there is proof of god, I'm no scientists, but PM me if you want any details. There are some good arguments on both side.

Shundra 2 years ago
Science and Religion are really just speculation. Sure we have "scientific evidence" for certain theories, but the way I look at it is life is very strange and everyone else knows only as much as I do. An atom could very well be a Solar System in a smaller Universe. Our Solar System could be an atom to people larger than our "reality". All I'm saying is no one truly knows, and I think religion is bullshit and science is incomplete. Think for yourselves... Think of your own theories.... :)

Shundra 2 years ago 3
If you deny creator (God) , then think for a while and ask yourself what were you before you were created?
Universe is called COSMOS, not CHAOS. If you deny God then you have to accept that Universe came through CHAOS.
And if it CHAOS then it would never happen again, but we know many new Galaxies are born.
Creator is the one who creates, but he is not created. Its beyond a human mind to comprehend, but denying creator based on argument that "Who created him"? is ignorance.
flyingv747 2 years ago
"based on the argument that "Who created him"? is ignorance. "
Sounds like a good question to me. If god has always existed, then on that logic you can argue the universe may have always existed (i.e no creation, no end).
We're all ignorant mate, and to claim otherwise just adds arrogance to our already long list of flaws.
markbrock30 2 years ago
It's not ignorance.I don't see why if I deny god, I should also deny Cosmos(order/determinism/predictability), even in Chaos cosmos can exist when Chaos reach a stability state for some time...
Chaos don't mean that it will not happen again, it means unpredictability/disorder/aleatory so yes it could happen again or not... The fact is we don't know, we don't have yet the knowledge, but for me one thing is sure: There is no God, ancient civilization or species leaved without him and I also can.
Shundra 2 years ago
How can you attribute orderly function of everything to Chaos?. Human beings are born everyday and this process is repeated, so is this Chaos or orderly function? How can order come from disorder. So we come to a logical conclusion that there is clever power behind this orderly function. Deny the clever power behind this function is turning away from the truth.
If we accept your theory of "No God" then and we stop ourselves of knowledge and fall into ignorance which leads to THEORY of evolution
flyingv747 2 years ago
Told you already that Cosmos can exist in Chaos. yes I do agree whit theory of evolution. Now stop saying "ignorance" and making false logic chain. Believing in the fact that god doesn't exist bring knowledge, when you believe in God you just stay in ignorance: you don't try to understand unexplained phenomenons ( I invite you to read about the "Dark Age" period in Europe and the change of focus from God to human reason, which lead to the "Enlightenment" period, for instance). -Dare to know-
Shundra 2 years ago
To say "Cosmos can exist in Chaos" is like saying order will come from disorder. If something is happening over and over again then it is NOT chaos. Random things happen randomly they don't repeat themselves and follow logical sequence of events.
Coming to dark age period in Europe. What caused it to go through that? where did the order (Cosmos) come from if everyone was ignorant, had it not been for Islam they and others would still be in dark. Read quran with scientific mind and debunk it.
flyingv747 2 years ago
Well again Cosmos and Chaos BOTH exist, first there is Chaos THEN cosmos emerge (this is done by "natural selection", or by human system).
1)COSMOS CAN EXIST WITHOUT GOD.
2)Being ignorant don't mean you can't build order (primitive village have an organisation).
3)"Islamic Golden Age" it's over since the 16th century. It seems believing in God there didn't bring knowledge since this time...
4) Yea Quran is very scientific, the world has been "created" in 6 days and this 6000years ago. right...
Shundra 2 years ago
Yeah, who created the creator? And who created the creator or the creator of the creator...? There must be a beginning at some point because if we say we say it has always existed, where is the beginning and why did he suddenly decided to create the universe?
Woooooo..I got lost here..hehe
nya13 2 years ago
A created can never be the creator. The creator is the one who creates but is NOT created.
flyingv747 2 years ago
How do you know? Did your god come down from the heavens and tell you that he has always existed?
It's ridiculous that you think some "being" has always existed, but you completely ridicule the idea of the universe having always existed. It's ignorance like that that made me leave my former religion, and rebuke it.
usefulidiot227 2 years ago
Answering your question: No, my creator did not come down from heavens, but yes, he has told me in his books.
You are thinking at a human level that being can never have existed always.
Creator is not a human or comparable to anything which is created. So you have to think outside the box.
Just bcz one religion cannot explain the origin or universe or anything else, does not mean that other religion is wrong as well.
flyingv747 2 years ago
So you're basing the existence of your creator off of stories that were written by mere humans a few thousand years ago.
Different cultures used to attribute a god to every phenomena. There was a god that made the wind blow, a god of fire, a god that made the sun rise. Yet now that we know how these things work, our culture has rejected the notion of these gods.
Tell me, if we figure out exactly how the universe was formed, what then will you attribute to your god?
usefulidiot227 2 years ago
Stories? No,instead it is a fact, and if you dont believe it then pls debunk it.
god of light, god of fire and so on are all pagan concepts. My religion introduced science to humanity when the word science did not even exist.
If you have to accept that you are putting forth a THEORY about the formation of universe. And I am sure you know what the word "Theory" means.
How about I prove (no theory) it to you,as per my religion how the universe was formed. Will you accept him as the ultimate God
flyingv747 2 years ago

Religion has done nothing but slow the progression of man.

then why don't you tell me how this enormous infinite universe came to be? What made this big bang happen? what started it? i'd love to know.

God Bless,
Ben

If were gonna start being passive aggressive, here's a quote:
The greatest obstacle to discovery is not ignorance -- it is the illusion of knowledge.

Shundra 2 years ago
an open mind is believing in something that you is hard and sometimes almost impossible to prove even with the best methods. you can gripe about what made the universe all you want; it won't change anyone's minds and finding this proof that a greater being doesn't exist is just plain ignorance. why are you people so afraid of being the lesser form of life? is there some pride issue going on that i'm not aware of?
StStephenPray4Us 2 years ago
No this is not being open mind. Open mind is accepting and considering alternative. Wich you don't do. The one who is realy afraid here is you... You fear so much death and the unknown that you close your mind to any alternative by beliving in a so called "God". It's a pity that you have been brainwashed whit this idea... What i hate above all is the fact that you said that WE are ignorant... as usual believer think that they are above everyone... You still didn't answer to me who created God?
Shundra 2 years ago
this is a belief i chose for myself. i had no help in the matter. i fear no death or any unknown because i have a higher being to rely on. i am above no one, but my God is much higher than you will ever be. God is everlasting, nothing created God. science says that there had to be an eternal energy that always existed to start the big bang or anything for that matter. so there you have it. and yes, you are ignorant, but i never said i was above you. dont make look like i'm a criminal.
StStephenPray4Us 2 years ago
agreed, this is going nowhere. thank you for realizing that, because i'm way too stubborn to stop. and you are right. only in death will we know the answer.
StStephenPray4Us 2 years ago
