  • Super dee duper!

  • Utah Rocks.....Hawaii sucks

  • @RubiTrack Flying a Flat-Top or Paragliding in Hawaii makes it not suck! LOL!

  • You are the man. :) nice video keep posting.

  • You are talented pilot and also enjoy to hear you talking while you have fun!!

it seems like you do not have rutin in your life

  • Man you were unbelievably pumped. And I can't blame you. Awesome flying.

  • Thank you for this positive and inspiring paragliding video :-)

  • LOL great video

  • JUST AWESOME

  • what drug do you take that makes you so happy and excited??

  • @syrianpro Drugs can never give you the feeling of the spirit of God.

  • Haha, this guy is like the most enthusiastic, happy go lucky guy. Man, I wish I could be like that. Anyways, are there any other sites besides Oahu where you can catch huge lifts like that?? I've done Makapuu many times, but I was wondering if there were other places around the world I could catch a lift at 100 ft all the way up to 2000 ft.

  • @mililaniguy Yes there are many good places to fly, I don't know of anything like Makapuu though. That is quite the spot.

  • I may be looking at getting the U-Turn Bodyguard as my first para, what do you think? Got some good reviews and safety featutres. We only have one supplier in the UK, Northern paragliding. Could you explain "Flat top and K2 rule"?

    Cheers super dude

  • @spadxiii1919 No way, for U-Turn go with the Emotion or Alpine Peak, not the bodyguard. The Flat Top paramotor is the best one on the market, that is absolutely no question the one to get because of the safety, performance and reliability. The K2 is a really good paraglider that I recommend as well.

  • Hi Super dude, can I ask why you may recommend the U-Turn Body guard over the Emotion. Both seem pretty good with good safety charactersicts, but the Body guard seems more passive, better suited to the novice. please tell me if I am wrong, only I have no experience in this area.

    Thanks super dude

  • Awesome dude. Fantastic vid to watch, booked myself on to a course in the UK.

    You make it look easy, so r e l a x e d....nice one

  • @spadxiii1919 Fun stuff man, just make sure you get quality gear. The Flat Top & K2 rule! If they try to sell you on "reflex" switch to a competent instructor lol. In the UK I offen see them try to push totally uncertified gliders onto beginners so watch out for that one. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. I can save you big time in the long run as I've been doing this quite some time. Have fun and ask questions! Lots of them.

  • Fly around New York xD

  • Hey man, I think you need a couple of wereable contour hd cammeras, one in your helmet at least, to keep your hands free. I'm from Iquique - Chile, let me know if some day you are flying here OK?

  • Yes lol, totally need a better camera setup:). Chile sounds awesome, there are some groups from here that go down there every year. Maybe I'll see ya one of these times.

  • yea!! it is awesome. People from all the world come here to enjoy paragliding. I'm a beginner, I'm flying just a few months ago. So, hope to see you around and have some advices from you.

  • I'll have what he's having. ;-)

  • Nice view!

  • lol a helment? I dont think that will break your fall ;) lol I know its for not hitting your head on metal parts on your paraglider,

  • im from scotland how would i go about starting this?

  • Hi,

Just find a good school that teaches paragliding and get started. Then before you buy any equipment let me know and I'll point you in the right direction to make sure you get the cool stuff:).

    Dell

  • Just cool

  • Looks like fun. How do keep from rising too high please? GR8 vid thanks.

  • Fly out of the lift or decend faster than the air is lifting by doing wing overs or spirals & such.

  • Thanks a lot.How long were u flying before u did your first windover? Cheers

  • man are you on drugs or just high on life lol, i like your style if its NOT drugs

  • Drugs would prevent you from having that much fun. I want all my senses operating perfectly thanks:).

  • Man... you are just awesome, how you do that? i envy you in a very bad way...

  • I have done lots of hiking and swimming along your Oahu paragliding track. Have often seen paragliders above, and wondered what it would be like. You were obviously having a blast. Thanks for that awesome fun video!

  • haha, great PG video of Oahu and hilarious ending..!

  • Hey, best paragliding video I've ever seen... So coooooool..

  • SWEET!!!

  • spirit!

  • cool to watch just too much woooohooooing!

  • OK, scratch New Zealand, scratch the Swiss Alps, definitely Oahu for the next place I'm going to free fly.

  • lmao !!!!!! with the passangers!!!!!!!, man you're awsome!! love your attitude!

  • Just had my first flight yesterday! It was just a sled ride(used winch to gain altitude), but it was still fun.

  • Thats soooo cool - Nice Videos - I wish I could fly like you guys

  • keep posting your videos, very cool flying.

  • Hey Dell,

You lucky Dawg you! Hawaii!!! And, you left your Sister in Chicago!!!! Just not fair. Looked like a rockin' blast!!!

  • awesome vid dude, so how long dose it take to learn and be able to pilot one of those legaly

  • No certification is required legally but you get your skills up to a USHPA P2 level for your own safety it would probably take at least a couple weeks. It is a total blast, once you learn to fly a paraglider you can fly it with the backpack unit or the trike like you see in some of my other videos. 3 sports in one. Seriously fun!!!!

  • hmmm, dose sound like fun, im from scotland so there is no shortage of of slops to glide from lol, how much dose the glider cost and the other gear that you would need

  • In ireland to kit out it would cost approx 4,500 euro for all gear... and then maybe 1,700 for lessons...Go foreign to somewhere like spain and do a course for two or three weeks.. its the fastest way. Need decent experience to fly in high winds of scotland i would imagine.

  • Nice video... sound quality was not great though.. i am a big fan of you kiting skills vid that talks about mu0shin. Ground handling blind folded :)

Look forward to your next site visit.

  • Nice video, it sure would be nice to fly out there.

  • I'll probably end up going to Salt Lake City this summer. I've never tried paragliding, though I really want to. Any suggestions of where to get some experience around Salt Lake City?

  • Sure give me a call when you come through at 801-631-1731 and I'll fix you up with an awesome instructor. There are lots of them here.

  • I'll keep that in mind, Thanks!

I found a place just now that can give ratings around where I live. Google: GreyBird AirSports to see how flat it is here.

Seeing as this is about 15 minutes away from where I live, it is the easiest. And, the weather is in the 70's for the next two or three months, probably a lot like Hawaii. :)

  • cool video

  • Dell could you use that wing for Motoring cool vid....Kurt

  • Yes check out my other videos, I'm flying it with the S-Trike!! I also flew it tandem in Hawaii hooking in at about 380 lbs. That thing kicks butt. The medium is the one I've been doing all of this with. I soared no problem in Makapuu while tandem on that thing. It is unbelievable. Not for newbies as it is extremely high performance for the DHV 1-2 catagory. Anything from solo PG to tandem or S-Trike flying. The thing rules.

  • So would the Atis be better than that wing you used to soar in HI

  • It depends on your experience. If you are a really new pilot then the Atis II would probably be the best choice between the two. However the Obsession is DHV 1-2 certifed so as long as you have decent skills the performance is really astounding. It also has the new AFS technology which is really cool as it will actually pull brakes for you if you do nothing. Give me a call if you like and I'll talk to you more about the exact differences 801-631-1731.
