If you can't make it on top for the second Star Coin, you can beat the current by pressing A really fast. That's how I got it lol. I didn't realise you're 'supposed' to get up on top and drop down into the water.

It goes through the entire stage for you, but it skips all secrets and star coins. You can press + to stop it and play through the rest of the stage on your own, but anything you collect doesn't count.
