  • Perfect soundtrack.

  • He's a wolf!

  • Vart fan lägger hon benen i kors?

  • I think the fact that there's less talk makes the movie more powerful. It's like you feel the actors emotions and there's is sort of a connection between the characters and the audience, like you understand them.

  • QUEM IRIA JUNTO COM ELE DA UM JOINHA AÍ

  • She is married, you can feel thoughts of betrayal on her part if she goes through with it. I'd love to be her anyway, Michael is a so handsome, the perfect man!

  • O Michael é a cara do meu Christopher Plummer, meu Deus. *-*

  • @MissAndressaBitelle xDDD it's exactly what I thought too !!!!!!!!

  • i've felt like that on the train before...like i was being mentally raped, it was awful

  • Btw UPDATE: A SHAME TRAILER IS GOING TO BE OFFICIALLY RELEASED TODAY!

  • @tenten6134 I know right?! Aahaha. But no aside from that, I'm really intrigued to watch his movie!

  • @Juka94 The Thin Red Line Soundtrack - Journey To The Line

  • nnneeeeddd toooo beee thaatt wommannn

  • what is this melody? :O

  • Does anyone know where I can watch this movie?

  • @msharleyquinzel In the cinema.. If you're old enough??

  • This film is intense, and tragic. There is nothing sexual or erotic about the images in this film. Michael does an excellent job portraying a sex addict who's on a runaway freight train to destruction. His "look" is hard to ignore. It's like dropping the hook with some very tasty bait into the water to get a bite. He's hard to resist. Unfortunately, it's not enough. An academy award-winning performance if I ever saw one.

  • @pattheGerrykat Wow, have you seen film?!

Really want to see it. Can't wait till it's released later this year.

  • If Michael was that close to me and starring me down I'd pass out.

  • So little yet so much

  • @skibidido yeah, every time i see this clip, i just would like to see much more, but somehow i'm afraid of it. so dense! i can't wait for it

  • just GORGEOUS. The actors (Fassy for sure) music, scenes... just breathtaking.

  • Love Fassbender so much. He looks in pain too. :(

  • Fassbender never fails me. His acting is supurb. He will always be my favorite actor.

  • You know it's going to be raw and graphic like Hunger was. Not to mention BRILLIANT.

  • This clip was so jarring and emotionally charged, imagine what the rest of the movie is going to be like. Can't wait.

  • @spunkransomsluv17 Agreed. Have you read the script? It seems really full on. And apparently big company seller's what Shame to be released this year for Oscar Consideration. Yes please! :)

  • @iSkyexx I haven't read the script yet. I wouldn't know where to find it. Even so a part of me wants to read it but also another wants me to wait until I see the movie. Like I would spoil it for myself. I'm too indecisive of a person hahaha. Yes they should definitely release this year!! I would be so happy if they did. Thank goodness for the Oscars huh? :D

  • @spunkransomsluv17

I thought of the same thing, but actually (for me) after reading the script, I really do want to go and see the movie when it comes out, I don't actually remember though where I found the Shame script sorry, it was months back. Exactly. Hopefully it'll be released in November/December. Yeh, apparently there are 3 big film companies bidding over the right's for McQueen's Shame, so that they can release it even though it's rated an NC-17.

  • @iSkyexx Yeah well with a movie about sex addiction its not surprising that it will be NC-17. But maybe I'll try to find the script and read it. :)

  • @iSkyexx actually, only 20-30% of the script (you mean the script dated June 2010, right?) is in the movie. The script is good, but the movie is much better.

  • @spunkransomsluv17 The movie is really emotional. So intense. Saw it last night. Want to own it now.

  • @MATTHE1W Oh wow, did you! Lucky.

Yeah I keep hearing great reviews from it. I heard the movie get's quite deep, and really does take you to the darkest places?..

  • @MATTHE1W Really? I heard that the director was trying to use as little dialogue as possible and rather have the acting do the speaking. Did you get that sense when watching the movie?

  • @spunkransomsluv17 yes, definitely. They also ad libbed part of it. The final movie is very different from the script you can find online

  • @spunkransomsluv17 yes definitely, this is one of the differences from the script, less talky

  • @MATTHE1W where did you see it !?

  • I WANT MORE CLIPS!!!

  • @mrsDanieBowie The extended clip - /watch?v=1rZEHw8I5Rs&feature=player_embedded

  • @iSkyexx Me decis q el clip es mucho más extenso?? lo subieron a you tube??

  • @iSkyexx Tenes twitter??

  • The music isn't from Inception (though the same composer). It's from The Thin Red Line sdtk "Journey To The Line" 3:15+ /watch?v=qP0FiwopDIM

  • @summerstarr882 Thanks for the song! It's hauntingly beautiful and I'm glad to find what song it is.

  • okay, no lie, Michael Fassbender's hot as fuck, but I'd be RUNNING AWAY if that happened to me. What the shit? CREEPER.

a sexy creeper, but still. i'm ready to be disturbed by this film!! bring it on!

  • WHEREVER that train has been or WHEREVER it may be going, i want to be on it....

  • AND THEN WHAT?

  • @pemchem Have to wait till the movie is released unfortunately :( This all that they showed of the clip from the Venice Film Festival, sneak peak. It's killing me!

  • GAWD DAMIT MICHAEL FASSBENDER! Your'e so damn sexy! Can't wait to see this film :D

  • Michael Fassbender has the perfect face for cinema. There is no dialogue here, but you can read the emotions in his face. Movie looks devastating.

  • So yea its kinda official...Michael Fassbender is my new God. I.Love.This.Man! How insanely talented is he! Its ridiculous.

  • I believe that the music is by Bach, but I'm not sure which piece. If anyone can tell me what is, I'd be very grateful.

  • @jgreenwood11491 my mistake :) But it's Hans Zimmer - "Thin Red Line" Soundtrack : Journey to the line.

"(...) In one startling and moving scene on a subway, McQueen takes a risk by sampling Hans Zimmer's score from "A Thin Red Line" ("Journey to the Line") instead of using original music" -part of review from hitfix.com

  • @Superhappyhour82 Thanks for finding where it came from. I was basing the Bach thing on a piece that I read that said that the music used throughout the film is that of Bach.

  • Music from that clip is: "Time" by Hans Zimmer from "Inception", but a little bit changed. Anyway I want... no I must see this film!

  • Steve Mcqueen's Hunger was the worst exercise in direction I have seen in a long time. Worst not in a sense of incompetent, but worst philosophically. No sense of space, no sense of lightness, the piece didn't breath. He forced a 3d representation into a 2d aesthetic, flattening everything else in the process. Looking forward to see Shame to see where he takes it next.

  • Just recently saw "Hunger", Steve Mcqueen's previous work, also with Michael Fassbender. Brilliant work! Can't wait to see "Shame". Each scenes are brilliantly crafted and we get to interpret each stare, smirk, or even a flick of an eye for ourselves. Love how he placed his hands beneath hers on the pole, barely touching but enough to say he wanted her. This short clip seems to capture the essence, the background music is beautiful. Rarely does one see a true masterpiece!

  • Sorry you might want to turn up the volume. Audio is low :)
