Lastly, try knowing the definition of trafficking before you make a false assertion. 'Trafficking' does not have to involve bringing someone into the country - that would be human smuggling. Try just a little education.

When I started in 1996 the residence would joke that Friday and Saturday nights were "Hookers on Parade" because you'd find up to 30 working along Robinson. Now you can go all day and see none. A busy day might bring a dozen out but not nearly what it used to be.

It would be a lot safer if sexual services were to be legalized, and then regulated properly by the apprporiate goverment. Not only would it make life easier and more safe for those who are in this business, but it would also let the goverment be able to tax and regulate everything properly. By making this illegal the only thing we're doing is making it a lot worse for those involved. It goes underground and becomes a dangerous place for everyone involved.
At least that my opinion.

are you saying that oklahoma law allows kids at 16yrs old to be legal to prostitute but they can't buy alcohol/liqour from liqour stores and convient stores until they're 21yrs old?

@smurfsgot1 What I'm saying is that the legal age of sexual consent is 16 in Oklahoma. In states like California where the age is 18 it makes it easier for police to intervene.

A questions about the underage girls. Can't the state take custody of them in efforts to get them out of the life? I know it would be a drain on taxpayers dollars, but these are lives being corrupted at such an early age.

@seriall1337 Yes, the prostitution overall has greatly decreased. When I started in 1996 the residence would joke that Friday and Saturday nights were "Hookers on Parade" because you'd find up to 30 working along Robinson. Now you can go all day and see none. A busy day might bring a dozen out but not nearly what it used to be.

I'm almost surprised that they don't take a undercover cop put him behind the wheel of one of those big rigs in those parking lots and bust the postitutes I mean the same with unmarked cars I see them do that on "Cops" I am just guessing that they don't have enough man power plus it would probably consume a lot of time. Good work though Brian I always enjoy you're videos I am sure the City of Oklahoma is proud of what you are doing.

The footage of the possibly 13 year old girl just makes me sick. How can you do that to yourself? How could things get so bad that you become a prostitute at that young an age? It makes me sick... you will never change the way things are> i applaud your efforts but sex is something everyone needs and wants, and prostitution is a quick way to get it for alot of people who have no one waiting for them at home. you said it yourself john, prostitution is the oldest know proffession and it will continue to be. it cant be changed. you may be able to bust a few, but you will never stop it.

There's a difference between taking advantage of a 13 year old girl that has been forced into this life and taking advantage of a government regulated industry with no pimps, no drugs and no diseases where it's off the streets and into a safe place for all those involved. @videovigilanteokc Well said, Brian. And something that I have noticed from your videos is most of the Johns you bust are married men! Keep up your work. The interviews you do with the girls every now and then are just heartbreaking. I don't know what I would if I were in a situation like many of them. You interviewed a girl named Yvonne (I think that is her name, and it is just heartbreaking) I think she even left a message for her daughter. Do you know how she is doing?

There's LOTS of ways from a man to get "that" that doesn't involve abusing women, children, and exposing communities to things they don't want. They clearly want to do this and I'm glad Brian is exposing them.

@sc88byd88 Sure it's impossible to stop it, but when the pimps, hookers, drugs, and abuse move into broad daylight in your neighborhood, then they tell you to move THAT is when you are supposed to say "no you move". When they say "we need privacy for our illegal activities" THAT is when you shine a light on them. When they try to hide their shame that's when you show the world who they truly are. Just because you can't stop something wrong doesn't mean you have to tolerate it.
