@eXtreme360fan It wasn't a beef as much as it was a friendly rivalry. Both felt like they were the best in New York and wanted the title. I remember reading an article with Big that came out late '96 talkin about Nas dropping It Was Written and it going double platinum. He said he knew he needed to come correct on his next album to beat that.
