The rest of the stories are just plain stupid and unbelievable with a lot of bad acting, but Kyle, Oliver, Layla and Chris are really very good. Disappointing that we will never see how these stories progress.

Wow! I have watched "All My Children" sinced 1982, but I am really impressed with the writing and the acting and the direction -- especially the direction -- of these scenes! Are these characters still on the show? I need to tune in. I love Broadway actor Jackie Hoffman as the protester who gets a kiss from Roxie! All of these actors are amazing!

Well actually philippeou, I was under the impression that Kyle and Nick were just dating and I don't recall ever hearing Kyle ever say that he loved Nick. I considered Nick a diversion or rebound relationship and the only thing I recall Kyle saying was that Nick was the man he wanted to be with. Kyle even seemed shocked when Nick said he loved him. I certainly could be wrong and I am sure someone will tell me if I am. But, being the ever hopeful romantic I was rooting for Kyle and Oliver...
It wasn't that Kyle used Nick its like he told Oliver its not love but it cold be one day and I think he went along with the wedding because it was just for show and once he was told that there was a chance (how ever small it was) it could be real he had to make a choice be with the man you know you love or be with a man you could learn to love (bad time to do it but he didn't have all the facts)
i used to think that the pacing of the story is amazingly slow but turns out it was a very good move and is a worthwhile pace.. made it more worth to watch again and again... i cant wait for the next storyline

Nick knew that it wasn't love that's why he waited to tell Kyle it was going to be legalized if things worked out and that's why he waited to the last min. to say he loved him the just started dating it was to new for love to be on the table. he knew that Kyle would have said no from the start it he laid it all on the line, don't trick a man to win him you will lose in the end
I did watch every episode until today, though since I only watch everything once, so if I did miss any details, please forgive me in advance. I understand this is a soap and details can be a little illogical or unrealistic vs. the real world; for instance, that their marriage could be legal or become real in PA if Dorian becomes mayor. So it seems to me, it's hard to construct a case of misrepresenatation on the part of Nick after he gave Kyle the chances to opt out prior to the ceremony.
I think the writers knew this would be an issue for people that's why in a way they made Nick less of a victim by having him hold out major details over and over again so once it came to the end we don't see Nick as the jilted lover but we see Kyle make a hard choice
That being said, I hope this is not going to turn into another crappy Nuke like story where the partners hug each other hello and goodbye instead of kissing and act much more like straight friends than gay partners. If the straight actors have a problem kissing same sex actors then perhaps whoever casts these shows should think about casting two actual gay actors when they know are going to begin a gay storyline. What a concept!
As always, Roxie was really funny! She can steal any scene. I did feel a tiny bit sorry for Nick, but not much. He always knew that Kyle was still in love with Oliver even when Kyle wouldn't admit it. It was really hard to miss. I thought Kyle's speech was very touching and if he had married Nick I would have been very disappointed in him. I did think the kiss was a bit short and passionless for two people that were just reunited after years of being apart...
Well they were in public, on television and just when they got going a horde of people surrounded them. Maybe that made them a little self conscious. Hopefully we'll see some hot make out sessions soon.
I'm definitely hoping for lots more smoochies in the future - ya know, when they're actually alone...
The first kiss we saw was spontaneous and passionate (much to Oliver's dismay) and in an alleyway. This one is like the opposite...totally mutual, sweet and tender, and surrounded by a supportive crowd.

Really? That OTHER guy waited until about an hour before the wedding that the wedding would be for real if that female won the election. Nick basically suckered him in the hopes that he could pressure him to say "I do" in spite of his doubts. I'm just glad Kyle wised up to it and his true feelings before it was too late.
Since you seem to have an excuse...uh, I mean "explanation" for anything except expressing concerns about Kyle's action - care to explain this? Kyle: "I dont' love you, Nick." And that was done, in public, I might add. If this is not public humiliation, what is? Does that mean Kyle was being untruthful and dishonest before Nick even made his marriage proposal and his sole raison d'etre of being with Nick was to get even with Oliver? I sure hope you don't open the Pandora's box with that.
Ummmm... philippeou... I don't recall Kyle ever telling Nick that he loved him. I know that what Kyle did was not right, but we all knew it was gonna happen... lol and it is probably safe to say that most of us were rooting for Kyle and Oliver. I don't think that Kyle was using Nick to get back at Oliver. I just think Nick was a diversion and I am glad that Kyle had the courage to end it instead of going through with the wedding when he knew it wasn't really what he wanted.

Though, I definitely think if you don't love someone, don't play with his feelings and certainly don't do anything that will publicly humiliate / hurt somebody, that's just wrong.

I feel mixed about this outcome. Nick did give Kyle many chances to opt out but he chose not to. Yet, at the last minute, it is quite humiliating and hurtful what he did to Nick. Not sure I am o.k. with that, the end doesn't justify the means. I felt that Kyle should have been more fortright about his feelings so that others don't get hurt. Franky, that's quite immature on his part and not something I can condone. That said, who doesn't make mistakes. I have and Kyle is human too.
uhm nick did trick kyle to told him last minute that it would be for real. they both used each other. nick used kyle so he can have some one to get married to and kyle used nick to quickly get over and to hurt oliver.

Well, this may very well be the kiss seen round the world today and possible the most viewed kiss in the us from a SOAP perspective, and a quite beautiful one at that, and just waiting to see what the writers do with the SL in the future, and hoping the don't screw it up...

It wasn't that Kyle used Nick its like he told Oliver its not love but it cold be one day and I think he went along with the wedding because it was just for show and once he was told that there was a chance (how ever small it was) it could be real he had to make a choice be with the man you know you love or be with a man you could learn to love (bad time to do it but he didn't have all the facts)

i used to think that the pacing of the story is amazingly slow but turns out it was a very good move and is a worthwhile pace.. made it more worth to watch again and again... i cant wait for the next storyline

loved how kyle pulls on fish's cop jacket after announcing his love for him. when he says i love you oliver, he tugs on his jacket.
also love the hand to the collar kiss from kyle. so tender, sweet, and soft.

Nick knew that it wasn't love that's why he waited to tell Kyle it was going to be legalized if things worked out and that's why he waited to the last min. to say he loved him the just started dating it was to new for love to be on the table. he knew that Kyle would have said no from the start it he laid it all on the line, don't trick a man to win him you will lose in the end

I did watch every episode until today, though since I only watch everything once, so if I did miss any details, please forgive me in advance. I understand this is a soap and details can be a little illogical or unrealistic vs. the real world; for instance, that their marriage could be legal or become real in PA if Dorian becomes mayor. So it seems to me, it's hard to construct a case of misrepresenatation on the part of Nick after he gave Kyle the chances to opt out prior to the ceremony.

I think the writers knew this would be an issue for people that's why in a way they made Nick less of a victim by having him hold out major details over and over again so once it came to the end we don't see Nick as the jilted lover but we see Kyle make a hard choice

That being said, I hope this is not going to turn into another crappy Nuke like story where the partners hug each other hello and goodbye instead of kissing and act much more like straight friends than gay partners. If the straight actors have a problem kissing same sex actors then perhaps whoever casts these shows should think about casting two actual gay actors when they know are going to begin a gay storyline. What a concept!

As always, Roxie was really funny! She can steal any scene. I did feel a tiny bit sorry for Nick, but not much. He always knew that Kyle was still in love with Oliver even when Kyle wouldn't admit it. It was really hard to miss. I thought Kyle's speech was very touching and if he had married Nick I would have been very disappointed in him. I did think the kiss was a bit short and passionless for two people that were just reunited after years of being apart...

Well they were in public, on television and just when they got going a horde of people surrounded them. Maybe that made them a little self conscious. Hopefully we'll see some hot make out sessions soon.

The first kiss we saw was spontaneous and passionate (much to Oliver's dismay) and in an alleyway. This one is like the opposite...totally mutual, sweet and tender, and surrounded by a supportive crowd.
I can't wait to see one that's the best of both worlds...private, passionate, mutual, and tender...

Really? That OTHER guy waited until about an hour before the wedding that the wedding would be for real if that female won the election. Nick basically suckered him in the hopes that he could pressure him to say "I do" in spite of his doubts. I'm just glad Kyle wised up to it and his true feelings before it was too late.

Since you seem to have an excuse...uh, I mean "explanation" for anything except expressing concerns about Kyle's action - care to explain this? Kyle: "I dont' love you, Nick." And that was done, in public, I might add. If this is not public humiliation, what is? Does that mean Kyle was being untruthful and dishonest before Nick even made his marriage proposal and his sole raison d'etre of being with Nick was to get even with Oliver? I sure hope you don't open the Pandora's box with that.

Ummmm... philippeou... I don't recall Kyle ever telling Nick that he loved him. I know that what Kyle did was not right, but we all knew it was gonna happen... lol and it is probably safe to say that most of us were rooting for Kyle and Oliver. I don't think that Kyle was using Nick to get back at Oliver. I just think Nick was a diversion and I am glad that Kyle had the courage to end it instead of going through with the wedding when he knew it wasn't really what he wanted.

Well, Kyle did, if not more than once. After Nick asked him whether he still has feelings for Oliver for which Kyle denied and instead said he loves Nick.
I am not rooting for anyone or against anyone. That's why I faithfully watch every episode. Look, it's a soap, just a show. Though, I definitely think if you don't love someone, don't play with his feelings and certainly don't do anything that will publicly humiliate / hurt somebody, that's just wrong.

I feel mixed about this outcome. Nick did give Kyle many chances to opt out but he chose not to. Yet, at the last minute, it is quite humiliating and hurtful what he did to Nick. Not sure I am o.k. with that, the end doesn't justify the means. I felt that Kyle should have been more fortright about his feelings so that others don't get hurt. Franky, that's quite immature on his part and not something I can condone. That said, who doesn't make mistakes. I have and Kyle is human too.

uhm nick did trick kyle to told him last minute that it would be for real. they both used each other. nick used kyle so he can have some one to get married to and kyle used nick to quickly get over and to hurt oliver.
