Mine only has slight engine modifications and I need to replace some tyres again soon. Yay. Great car though comfortable easy to drive gearbox clutch are smooth change is great revs high and the power just stays there.

@nissanandres the difference between the GTR and GTT is their engine. The GTR has RB26DETT that is twin turbo and a GTT has a RB25DET that is single turbo. The GTR has more horsepower and a more advance AWD system. The GTR and GTT also have different bodykits and the GTR has the center screen that monitors the boost, injectors pulse, and other stuff. The price for a GTT is also very different from the price the GTR.

The R34 Skyline GTR is the only japanese car that can PWN any german car u throw at it and yes including the SLR 722 Mercedes and Audi R8!

R34 should be classified as a SUPERCAR not ur typical japanese import tuner <3

the only cars in the world that can top an R34 GT-R is the reventon, Zonda, Murcielago lp640, and the Veyron! not even ferarri enzo can top an R34 in speed, hp and performance FACT that cant be denied!

@kawarulz compering the broshures from 90' both have 280HP but its comes from gentlemen deal that no one wont say how much they cars have if they will have over 280 :) 2JZ-GTE from supra is 3liter turbo inline 6, RB26DETT is 2.6liter twin turbo inline 6. so i think that stock Skyline is better. but.. who talks about stocks? 3l can be much stronger then 2.6l . ofcourse u can use RB30 block and storke to make it RB33. same 2JZ can be 3.3l. but.. 4WD need more power then RWD thats why supra wins

What a BEAUTIFUL car, I felt in love with it since I played Need For Speed Underground back in 2001. Then I watched Fast and Furius. After that it became the car of my dreams. Unfortunately we don't have cars like this in Argentina. Most exsotic Nissan here is the Tiida jajaja. So, screeshots or photos are the only way I have to be near of a Skyline, 240SX, Silvia, 370z, RX-7, Mustang, Camaro....... What a greeeeaaaatt country Argentina... lol

course u can replace it they are both 6 cylinder engines, costs about 5k here for engine/driveline/gearbox if u dont have ur own,but other wise yeah you gotta go through pits since its twin turbo as the rb26 is bla bla bla by the time its all done it will cost u about 5-7k u think is it worth it

yeah u can replace it no problems think of it like this, buy a rb26 stock engine 5-7k installed into ur car, and all the rest,

leave the rb20 and spend 5-7k on it and you got 300hp+ 2 ltr

spend another 5-10on the rb26 to make it faster then the rb20

keep reading it over and over if u dont get it lol

The R34 doesn't have a 2 ltr.!! it has a RB25-NEO. (2.5 ltr.)

And yes, you can replace the 2.5 ltr. by an rb26... but it won't be cheaper!! it's quite expensive :)

canada has a stupid rule that the car imported has to be 15 years old to come into canada from japan or anywhere overseas i believe. from the states it has to meet emissions and crash ratings that takes a good chunk of cash and probably detunes the car immensly. only this past summer was the first time ive seen a couple EVO 5 and 6's and they looked heavly modified. i see countless R32's but they are in such bad condition its sad.

Stock for Stock a GTT vs a GTR are too totally different cars, but once you start building on the GTT they are just as powerful (add one testicle) Then on my GTT i have gtr panels ceter MFD console etc etc (Add another testicle for looks) Whenever someone sees my Skyline they think its a GT-R so :S

I like building my cars from the ground up, so naturally i wont buy a GT-R i spent more money on my GTT and definately could have bought a GT-R...i could of actually paid off half a house by now looking at it that way. Some people like to go above and beyond the means of stadardisation, i myself would love to see a everyday lancer shit on a purposfully built EVO, yes i like EVO's better and think done up lancers are tacky.

But if it can do the job it can do the job, personally i don't like the AWD system for all uses on the GTR i like going to the mountains and feeling the rear slip out around turns enough to make you appreciate the cars power and handling, although i love GTR's for what they do. I have a GTR engine and all the parts to go with it 6 speed geerbox etc Nismo LSD's near all parts ripped of dead GTR's... But do i want it to be a GTR? not exactly...something between a GTR and a GTT = GTS-R ever heard?
