As such, the other two pilots could only work one throttle each.

One movement of those throttle levers +/- 1 or 2mm incorrectly could have (at any given time in their recovery or approach) resulted in an uncontrollable stall, bank angle, or dive.
These guys did it all perfectly - basically what the PCA software does, but with zero programming.

Next time when airplanes get bigger with better tech, everyone will be trained to parachute as last chance to bail out. This increase eye witnesses since air travel is a norm nowadays. Everyone on air is fragile and disaster can happen in 1 move, travelling on air is much more risky than on land/sea. Many many countless accidents had happen after the invention of airplanes.

I doubt the PCA mentioned in this video can be used on the A300. It tested with a 3 engine MD11, but in this case it's a 2 engine aircraft which is significantly harder to control using propellers alone.

PSU is not as great as it may seem: look, all total hydraulics loss are only imaginable in case of major airframe damage, like the wingtip this time. In this case the plane reacts different then if it was undamaged and just without hydraulics. PSU would not be able to adapt itself for the damage, so it would probably crash the airplane in such cases.
Anti-missle jamming devices are more important system to be invented on airliners.

im an iraqi native. i remember being told this story when i fled the country. our flight from baghdad to dubai was cancelled and we had to head back home for that day, only to return 2 days later for the replacement flight.
on the way back from the airport, the cab driver told us the story of a dhl pilot who was hit by a missile and still managed to land the plane, only to end up in a mine field. i couldnt believe it

I doubt the PCA mentioned in this video can be used on the A300. It tested with a 3 engine MD11, but in this case it's a 2 engine aircraft which is significantly harder to control using propellers alone.

I believe in liberty and you are free to believe in whatever you want. However it seem as if God exists does not concern himself at all with events on Earth. God in no way helped us improve our planes and that was something Humanity has done itself. It is a logical question as to why a Deity would let such horrible events happen on the Earth. It is very false to ever assume that your God "just knows best". No matter how strongly you believe, you should question a God's set of logic and ethics.

Even if this is a logical explanation for motive, we still have no idea if any such deity actually exists.

PSU is not as great as it may seem: look, all total hydraulics loss are only imaginable in case of major airframe damage, like the wingtip this time. In this case the plane reacts different then if it was undamaged and just without hydraulics. PSU would not be able to adapt itself for the damage, so it would probably crash the airplane in such cases.
Anti-missle jamming devices are more important system to be invented on airliners.
