  • WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS

  • こんな風に、地球上の隅々に'愛の波動'が広がっていく事を心から祈っています。

  • HAHA, I like how god's love isn't shown influencing anyone to feed starving people or stopping war.

  • @TheDeLoreanFlux - you say this as if Christians don't feed starving people all the time...and the truth is sometimes war is necessary (maybe not this one, but sometimes it is)

  • @Graffight Yeah, a few christians feed starving people, but that's not my point. This video does NOT show starving people's prayers being answered. I guess god only helps white, wealthy people with their trivial problems.

  • @TheDeLoreanFlux - no...God helps who he chooses. He has answered my prayers....actually he's answered every single one of them (the answer isn't always yes, but they are answered none the less). So if he's answered my prayers, and i'm not, white nore wealthy.......where does that leave your argument?

  • @Graffight So I guess god doesn't care about starving people in Africa since he keeps answering "no". Either that or prayer just doesn't work. (That seems more likely.)

  • @TheDeLoreanFlux - if you can find me the place on in the bible where it says God won't allow suffering, or that if we pray hard enough God will fix our problems for us i'll agree with you....but no such text exists. Please don't try to blame God for our problems...there is absolutely NO good reason that there should be that much suffering on earth, we as people have the ability to care for EVERYONE....people suffer because of US, not God....Take responsibility for it and work to fix it.

  • @Graffight "Please don't try to blame God for our problems...there is absolutely NO good reason that there should be that much suffering on earth, we as people have the ability to care for EVERYONE....people suffer because of US, not God."

I agree completely. Based on what you just said, how can you think prayer works, or that god is even real?

  • @TheDeLoreanFlux - the conclusion God does not exist does not follow from "God doesn't do my bidding."...the conclusion that should follow is, maybe I should get off MY lazy duff and do something, because it's MY fault stuff is messed up in the first place....not God's.

  • @Graffight "the conclusion God does not exist does not follow from "God doesn't do my bidding."" No kidding. "God does not do my bidding" is not the only thing I am taking into account when I ask "how can you think god is real?"

Clearly if prayer doesn't work, that doesn't PROVE god's existence, nor does it disprove. It just says "either there is no god, or there is and it doesn't answer prayers".

  • @TheDeLoreanFlux - You have fallen into the misconseption that Christians expect God to always answer prayer with "yes". This is an Athiest position, not a christian one. Most christians understand that God says "no" sometimes. This is upsetting to atheists because it puts this into a place where it's not testable. This is an atheist problem...not a christian one. Nowhere in the bible does it say that God is going to do absolutely everything you ask him to exactly when you ask him to do it.

  • @Graffight

    You've read the bible?

    You must know everything.

  • @TheDeLoreanFlux - Here check this out...it might help explain.../watch?v=WHASevWORt0

  • @TheDeLoreanFlux

Apparently 'god' is too busy helping Tim Tebow throw a football to care about the starving kids, or helping that one guy find his keys when he accidentally left them in his jacket pocket on his other, other coat.
