Take a look at the spills for the last 20 years, there are a hell of a lot more then they tell us about. @traynickel, no doubt the oil spill has maliciously damaged the Gulf and its effects on fish and wildlife are detrimental, but lets use our heads. No large fish kills in FL, GA, SC, NC, VA, etc. Don't you think if this kill was caused by the Gulf incident, sightings of fish kills would be more abundant in states below you closer to the Gulf? There would be a multitude of species dead, not just one. Menhaden kills have been seen numerously prior to the Gulf incident. Ive seen it myself.

My only intent is to educate those who believe corexit is responsible and will be responsible for all fish kills which occur around the globe. This may be the case in Louisianna, but its happened many times prior to BP. @strikenetter When, what fish kills are you referring to. I don't remember anything like this for my life, 52 years old. The corexit is in the Atlantic, that you can bet on. It doesn't take a genius to know that much. What the effect is we don't know, but if you have another valid explanation besides, HAARP, Magnetism, or the oil/corexit, we are listening. But support your theory, pleae.

These masses can travel around the globe in under 24 hours and spread whatever they have along the way, or they may stay as a mass and stop somewhere. This does happen, I have studied Aviation Weather, a lot! Dust storms from China land in Seattle, from Africa to Brazil, the ocean has currents much like the air. Basic engineering principles of hydro and aero dynamics.

They have the equivalent of three diesel electric locomotives of power, not even enough for a small town. Each power unit produces 3600KW and even when combined are no stronger then an AM radio transmitter. the most damage they can do is to Airplane electrical flying overhead, but they turn it off when there are planes above them. My personal theory, for today, is oxygen depletion as a direct result of pollution combined with many oil spills/corexit around the world. I believe it's the oil and corexit, and what has/is evaporating out of the GOM and drifting into the air, or getting in the food/water supply. Birds all stop and eat and drink from the same menu, and leave the restaurant together, it makes sense that they would get sick all at the same time too. Like a group at a meal getting food poisoning, they all feel it at about the same time. That's what I think is going on.

The solution to pollution is Dilution!.the man is correct in saying the Warm water depletes the Oxygen levels of the water it happens off the gulf coast way before the BP spill its call dead zones! Last 30yrs of my life I have seen it 1st hand! Even if the dispersant traveled up the jet stream to this beach it would be so diluted that the Parts Per Million would be so low that it would not bother any animal to this effect!
