I was always familiar with the child song, and watched the movie when I was 6 years old, but wouldn't have understood or grasped the whole story. Watched it now as a parent, and found the movie so touching and heart moving, was sobbing at times.

Its true what they say, they don't make movies like this anymore.

The characters in the movie have been potrayed very well.. with just the right level of emotions.. totally loved Shabana Azmi's character in the movie..she doesnt need dialogues to convey herself to the viewers...her silence was jus more than enough. N ofcourse, she is such a beautiful woman!! :)

A great family movie. I love the boy. The way he always spoke softly made me feel more emotional. We hardly get to watch such movies these days. Nowadays, the story line of almost all the movies involve love triangle or love square... its so sad that the importance of family bonding and relationships are given less importance compared to old movies.
