have you considered adoption? I was unable to get pregnant. My husband and I adopted a beautiful baby boy. There is no wait for healthy african american babies, as there are so many out there.

You are my inspiration. We are starting our 1st IVF cylce 7/19 and I'm very anxious. IUI was much simpler. Your videos made me feel like I had a sister out there that understands and I could relate to. My 3 sisters had very quick natural pregnancies and I'm feeling like the old one out. It is not "defeat". I went through it, many times (all was perfect, every time), and our family is now made up of two wonderful children (siblings!!) who came to us through adoption, my husband, and myself. I cannot even begin to explain to you how it all became the perfect preparation for what was to become the answer to all those why's. There are other options, yes, but perfection only comes from God. You will have your answer, and you will find your way, your success, no matter which way.

Hi Monica and Robin! I just wanted to say thankyou, for sharing your invitro journey. My husband and I have been through two ivf cycles that have not worked ,and I was recentally in my third cycle when the doctor called yesterday to cancell my retrevial due to my estrogine not being high enough. I'm so sorry it didn't work this time. I had the same thought about your pneumonia - who knows whether it had any effect or not, but never what you want during the wait.

In any case, it would be easy to start feeling defeated about this time, and I'm so glad you don't.
