  • I just adore vintage garments :) I wear 50's bullet bras, and have a black satin corset with whale boning. (Which I wear daily for about 6 hours.) Thanks for sharing this video!! :)

  • @baronor2 Itunes begs to differ...spammy comment deleted...

  • thankyou, a few places I didn't know about but will be checking out x

  • Do you have any idea where you could purchase one of those little hats that people pin in their hair. Like the one at 1:39?

  • urban outfitters' website has a couple of headbands and headpieces that look very vintage-like. they're pretty reasonably priced, too.

  • Black Hole Sun...didnt sound garden do that song?

  • yes they did...on the superunknown album

  • Hi! I plan to start waist training too, but I wonder if it´s possible to get one that laces up in front, since I have no one to help me put it on. Do you know if it would still work? Thanks for the website tips.

  • Is this Richard Cheese playing ?

  • It's Paul Anka. :)

  • Omg the music was awesome...and the clothing as well, gotta check them out. Thanks!

  • Thanks for the tips...I had forgotten about Morganna Femme.

  • I love this stuff. I have been reading 50'sgal blog on blogspot. She is living her life as if it is 1955. VERY interesting blog if you wanna check it out. Anyways, she discusses at length how undergarments gave women the look they wanted in years past, now we are expected to starve ourselves or live in a gym 24/7 in order to acheive this new look. Personally, I like the older looks better, and thankfully, so does my hubby. He says these new stars look "scrawny".

  • What is the link to the blogspot blog that you are talking about?

  • I bought the most amazing corset ever, fantastic quality and design, off ebay for $20AUS.

    Such a great find :D

  • lucky lucky!

  • thnks so much. i have been looking for a place to get real corsets. are the site kinda inexpensive..... maybe a little

  • A good quality corset is going to run you a nice little sum...around 200 US dollars or so. They are so gorgous though and at least they never go out of style. :)

  • Is the music Richard cheese?

  • Love the under bust corsets. I've always wanted to purchase vintage inspired underclothes, but the price always holds me back! I'll have to check out these sites though, thanks for sharing!

  • I dunno...I'm all a bout the external corset these days. :)

  • Hahahahaha

gotta love the Black Hole Sun cover

  • Ooh la la, I love it!!! Definitely going to check out these sites. Thanks Lisa! xxNadia

  • Lisa, I've been watching your tutorials for a few weeks now and I just LOVE all of them. I'm still having problems with victory rolls though. I can't seem to get them tight enough. I'm hoping to be able to get them right after I get my hair cut though. Do you have a good diagram for longer hair? Mine currently falls to just past my bra line, but I don't want to get it cut any shorter than just past my shoulders.

  • There isnt really a diagram for long hair cuts that I have found but you just need a good layered cut. Tell them to make it the same length all over. If you want it right below the shoulders, make that your longest layer. Which means the layers at the top and sides will all be 'stair steps', if you catch my meaning. For instance, check out some photos of Rita Hayworth. Her layers were all approximately 10 inches.

  • thanks for the vid!!! lovely as always

  • I Love each and everyone of your videos. It´s a pitty here in Brazil we don´t have a lot of people doing stuff like that - I happen to know all this sites and I found them just as fabulous as they´re supposed to be!

  • Thanks so much for your sweet comments! There aren't many people doing this where I live either...I really do like going to las Vegas in APril where there are alot of Rockabilly girls to visit. :)

  • Love the version of Black Hole Sun.

  • It's great isnt it? My sister in law sent it over to me the other day. :)

  • I loved listening to it as well. Do you know who is singing it? Sounds vaugely like Frankie.

  • It is Paul Anka.
