I honestly don't hear the eden thing at all but that is what all the websites say. For the longest time I thought she was saying something more like "In my empty apartment in the south end", but then I just opted out that she went completely nuts and started speaking french or some shit. But I agree, it is probably the code for the end of the world.
This song really shows how Amanda is so really just so innocent and fragile still, even though she may not show it, it's beautiful, i love her honesty in her lyrics.
