  • @jacobinvading The next bit is "Don't worry who these jokes will all be lost on"; the fact that no one knows what that line is about is the whole point. It would make sense to the person the song's written about.

She said when they played this live that this song was written in a "pre-break up stage; that point where you realise 'oh, it's going to end' but it hasn't ended yet."

  • Well, on their website, it says these are the lyrics to that part: "in eden where you almost pulled your pants down" but that doesn't sound like that at all. Every other website says what I wrote before, and you can actually make that out, somewhat. Maybe its code for the end of the world

  • @JacobInvading

    xD

I honestly don't hear the eden thing at all but that is what all the websites say. For the longest time I thought she was saying something more like "In my empty apartment in the south end", but then I just opted out that she went completely nuts and started speaking french or some shit. But I agree, it is probably the code for the end of the world.

  • Does anyone in the world know what the fuck she says at 5:40-5:49???

Seriously. It's like the only line in the song I can't figure out

  • @xmisogyny She's saying the following the following: "In I-M-D-R-F-T-O in Eden"

What that's suppose to mean... I have no idea.

  • @JacobInvading

    I highly doubt that's it.

  • i really enjoyed your video and the audio quality is great:)

keep up the good work \m/

  • Awesome film clip. I love the way you switched between colourless and colour.

  • I like the video. I'm glad you filled a stupid, boring old picnic with Dresden Dolls love~

  • is that girl in the video you?

  • This song really shows how Amanda is so really just so innocent and fragile still, even though she may not show it, it's beautiful, i love her honesty in her lyrics.

"There is nothing in the worl that we can count on, even that we will wake up is an assumption"

that line always hits a nerve

  • So, freaking, amazing. I'm refusing to tell anyone about this song so preserve its awesomeness.

  • This song is pure caberet.

A great demonstration of Amanda Palmer's voice.

    Love it!

  • For me, the lyrics of this song make Oscar Wilde look like a braying jackass.

  • I really liked how you switched from black and white to color as the music intensified. I'm surprised that you included the smiling clips, though...I thought that they would be outtakes. ^^;;
