I WANT THIS MUSIC!!. Do you own any mallet instruments yourself. I own a musser xylophone. My parents brought it brand new for my 15th birthday. And my ex-percussion instructor (whose a gifted percussionist herself) owns a 5 1/2 marimba herself that was once owned by the famous Gordon Stout. She is one of his ex-students.
@drummerman55 The image in the background is indeed a marimba... you can tell by the size of the bars and because this is 4 1/3 octaves. You can even see the low A key. Glad you liked!
@phaseIIskater4 im sorry but i cant help but think that youre incorrect. dont marimba bars get wider as they get lower in tone? and xylophone bars get longer as they get lower in tone. all the bars in the picture are the same width :S:S and the ranges can vary on both instruments cant they?
@drummerman55 No, because most xylophones don't go down to a low A! Even a 4 octave xylophone only goes to down to a C, not an A. Not all marimba bars get really wide. For example, take a look at a Malletech marimba and a MarimbaOne. The bars on the Malletech are frickin HUGE compared to the MarimbaOne. Trust me.
