  • he was 2nd on this rally only 2.38 faster than me, i was driving a 1998 subaru, and he a 2006 skoda, developments 8 years different as well, anyway, i just like to show off.

  • Wow, look at 1:01. His weight transfer skills are awesome, but count the time it takes him to make the corners, then time the car after. 2 seconds faster! The other driver is much faster being neat and not sliding. Doesn't look as good but the difference is staggering!

  • That Subaru is so beautiful....flappies are so sick

  • AWESOME!!

  • the sound of the gods

  • fuck ferrari, lambo and other gay supercars driving only in a str8 line, this is THE REAL SUPERCAR made for a REAL DRIVING!

  • @kyhubiatch whoa those supercars were developed on the track with technology most cars dream to have its just the rich fucks who can afford them that only can drive them in a straight line

  • hear what? a skoda?

  • 1:12 did you hear that???

  • surprisingly nippy!!!!

  • TokYo drift what?

  • What size wheels are those? They look massive on the older Imprezas....

  • enjoyable!! cheers for the upload..

  • If it was Colin Mcrae style, he would of been permanently sideways..:)

  • can i hear an anti-lag system?

  • Wow... Can't stop watching it! What an amazing driver!

  • i love the car sound ;D

  • dam he hugged that second corner amazingly

  • Best shape WRC Soobie by far - love it!

  • 0:47 crazy drive

  • 0:16 are great !!

  • b22 is a tasty thing)

  • Colin McRae-The Boss,R.I.P.

  • @DZoneTV :'( Colin the best ...

  • Nice!

  • subaru... the proof that there ABSOLUTELY is a replacement for displacement.

  • Yeah, and thats why they went from the old 2.0L's to a 2.5L now?? Its simple if you want to make your power more reliable. you bore or stroke a motor, or start with a bigger one..more circumference on a piston = more pressure it can take before failure.. " No replacement for Displacement" is clearly just a saying that just re-states everyday physics

  • they went to 2.5l in the US, because we don't have the wrc here, and don't have to follow the 2.0L homologation guidelines. Your comment of "more circumference on a piston = more pressure it can take before failure.." is utterly false. It also doesn't take into account the increase in time required for flame propagation, necessitating way more ignition advance. And, if you read my post, I stated that there IS a replacement for displacement, so please read before commenting like that.

  • @imprezaracer1999 I like that. It does make you think, of all the uploaded car videos out there, it's the little EJ25 powered, AWD Imprezas and Legacy's getting sideways or smoking established sports cars. Hell, my 2.5 TS can hang with a newer Civic Si with nothing more than good tires and a ham-fisted monkey rowing the gears.

  • Awesome

  • this is a 1999 spec subaru Impreza WRC owned by Paul Kirtley of MSP my dad knows him and has competed against him!

  • I am driving here W12WRC so an 1998 WRC, owed by me and John Kirtley(paul's brother), but Paul did drive it a couple of times, Paul has a 1999 WRC, anyway, who is youre dad?

    kind regards Joost kusters

  • 2 cars are identical are they lol my dad is Melvyn Evans has An S11 Subaru MC54 WRC tim mcnultys old on

  • yes they do look the same, you can find the difference in the rollcage and under the bonnet. yes i did met youre dad once or twice. S11 one of the best and beautiful cars the ever made @ prodrive.

  • @joostkusters I'm torn between the S11 and the S5 as the best looking of the WRC Impreza. Would give my left nut to have a drive in one!

  • Is it an ex-works car?

  • probably was

  • yeh you owned that same car my ASS

  • Its not a 22b.. the WRC Prodrive prep'd imprezza is miles away from what is now known as a 22b, the only thing they have in common is the Peter Stevens styled wheel guards and front and rear bumpers. The 22b is a production model 98 Type R refitted with all the goodies.. billstien sus Etc.. as for 350 HP if that were true this car would be disqualified even before starting a stage.. all WRC GRP A models were fitted with Turbo Limiters.. max HP 300, but obviously capable of a lot more.

  • still such a good car the 22b , insane amounts of torque out of 350 horsepower(wrc version) and insane amounts of grip , and it s the best looking wrc car till date in my eyes ! legendary car , and thx to the legendary driver colin mcrea , prodrive and subaru could create these superb subarus !

  • Very good driver

  • Subaru's Wrc 1999 rules xever----lancer sucks...

  • and u dont?
