I am not a dancer but I really can't see your emotion from your face because you are whipping your head around so much. I think the word is over choreographed. I think your technique does not look as good as most dancers I have seen do contemporary either.

People can learn from watching. That is how babies learn everything. I am not a "professional" dancer, but I do know a thin or to because of my dance classes in color guard. You can also see some ones emotion without knowing anything about dance. There is also a way to tell some one something with out being rude!

I had no intention of being rude and I'm sorry if you took it that way. Just so you know in the dance community if you say something negative about someone's technique, you better be able to back it up. And if you can't back it up then keep the negativity to yourself. Again, not trying to be rude.

@HaroldandFred not to be rude or anything but color guard dance classes aren't necessarily dance training... Contemporary dancing is way different than what you are probably used to. It's an evolving dance and technique goes way beyond what you see in color guard... If you look closely to the movement and listen to the song, Janet portrays emotion in every step.. Now being a non dancer we understand why you don't get the piece... but to state something you know nothing about is kinda rude...
