Its good music and fun to experience these "old time" player in a way never before possible. The forensic software to remaster the sound and video (or I'm sorry... "film") must have cost a fortune. Thanks for sharing it with us. to those claiming FAKE, are you questioning my ability to perceive the obvious? next you will tell that there is no santa claus. Come on!!!
I do recall reading...I have to look it up, hundreds of pages to read through...but for sure, it was the late December of 1909 issue. An ad there for a new projection system of color and motion and speaking images. A failure, yes, surely, but it shows yet another example of what the exhibitors wanted. I'll look and hope to find the ad and PM you if I succeed.
You sort of have to chew on that guys name a while when listening to this. Nice tune. I'd pay two bits to see that show (After the chores were done of course).
Old Cremona, I wanted to compliment you on your magic lantern daguerreotypes and excellent old banjo stylings. Keep up the good work and we will invite you to provide the music for the opening gala at the Panama Canal --
I think you can have this film colorized and there is probably software to clean the image up a little bit. With a little work and some expense you could have this film looking brand new. It's amazing how good the audio was recorded a 100 years ago!
@TheOriginalWheelsTV Actually this isn't a film made in 1908. The person that made this video added a simple film effect on the video. Audio wasn't good when recorded 100 years ago, and films from the 1900's didn't have any sound. This video was shot with a video camera.
Yeah ; but i think there is a mistake ; this vidéo is from 1907 , and not 1908 , 'cause my grandfather used to record it on the French TV in this early period ..
fake.. first films did not have sound.. iam sure we've all heard of the term silent movie..
