I've wanted an S2000 since they made them. Best car Honda Motors ever made other then the NSX. As for the 350z, my best friend use to have one. I loved everything about it other then the Nasty Blind spot(I'm 6'2") and the Open Deck Block design on all the Earlier VQ's(I'd have to have the stronger Hi-rev block).

@jeeba6 If your referring to @0:36 with the windshield being tinted then it's probably because there's not bright sunlight outside and he has his driver and passenger (and possibly rear) window tinted. Plus the convertible top is black. With all that and the crappy camera, the windshield is shown as tinted. You can't have the windshield tinted, that would be illegal and very dangerous. It would be very difficult to drive at night with the windshield tinted.
I love cars! Especially Hondas! But, let's admit it, Hondas aren't big on power. I'm just as happy seeing an S2000 drive down the road in video clips as I'd be if it were beating bigger blocks. The engine itself is a blast to listen too and be admired. It doesn't really need to prove itself by going up against 370Zs and 350Zs, or G35s, Mustangs, etc. etc.

Second, it uses a double wishbone suspension (which is above average for its class), combined with its near perfect weight distribution. it is a LITTLE slower than the 350Z, but that doesn't change the fact that its a masterpiece of automotive engineering, and a testament to the creativity and enginuity of mankind!

This is a 350, not a 370. Power is the same on the 350s. The nismo 370 also has a different tune to help with the power, it's not gaining 18hp from just a muffler.
@STiTypeUK could be never know some times you just get these flukes where a car has more HP and respond differently to aftermarked parts than others of the same kind . It was more common back in the day when the engines and drivetrains where hand built and installed. Or so ive been told.
Nismo 350z for 07 and 08 had the SAME hp as a stock 350z. The exhaust didn't add any hp it just changed the sound of the car. All nismo did was change the areodynamics, rims,suspension,and breaks. A stock Z still would have won. You cannot race a Z from a roll with an S2k and expect to win because you most likely won't.

A $42k, 431hp, 0-120 in less than 13 seconds, Vette still owns everything bang for buck. While getting 28mpg highway.........
@Zswag22 Vette's quicker and more fuel efficient with less power. Insurance is also cheaper, if that's a factor. For the extra 8 grand you spend on the Stang, you could get the magnetic suspension and own pretty much everything for the money on both types of tracks.

@Gred922 Both cars have the power potential. Its just on how far you want to go. The VQ needs internals after going past 400whp, while most S2k owners have gotten away with upgraded head studs and headgasket(engine wise). The only advantage the 350 has over the S2k is its a better daily driver to some.

the s2k is so much more bang for the buck, much better build quality, and comes out of the factory forced induction ready. anyone who could say the 350Z is a better car is either a balding male entering midlife crisis, or someone who read the specs on both cars, and blew their wad over a tenth of second better 0-60 time and 40 more horses. tell me how much more you've got to spend to get forged internals for your Z, then tell me you've still got the better vehicle.

This is a 350, not a 370. Power is the same on the 350s. The nismo 370 also has a different tune to help with the power, it's not gaining 18hp from just a muffler.

And i don't know what you're smoking, but the 370z nismo EXHAUST is larger than stock, gaining 18 horsepower.
Go look up dynos of before cat back and after cat back on a 370z and note the 15-20 more horsepower the car makes WITHOUT A TUNE.

Nismo 350z for 07 and 08 had the SAME hp as a stock 350z. The exhaust didn't add any hp it just changed the sound of the car. All nismo did was change the areodynamics, rims,suspension,and breaks. A stock Z still would have won. You cannot race a Z from a roll with an S2k and expect to win because you most likely won't.

A twin turbo V6 is fine with me, actually, not really, forced induction is for trust fund babies that don't mind putting thousands of dollars into their cars to keep them running. A $42k, 431hp, 0-120 in less than 13 seconds, Vette still owns everything bang for buck. While getting 28mpg highway.........

@Zswag22 Vette's quicker and more fuel efficient with less power. Insurance is also cheaper, if that's a factor. For the extra 8 grand you spend on the Stang, you could get the magnetic suspension and own pretty much everything for the money on both types of tracks.

no i didn't get a warrenty but why would i need one if i planned on modding my car which would kill a warrenty anyways. And no i didn't put more than 15k in my car. Its no abused either. It has a new engine that only has 40k miles on it. The body has 114k. Better bang for my buck than spending atleast another 30K to get a vette with a 10yr warrenty not to mention how much it would cost for insurance and service bills. the fact that i've known the previous owner for years makes me believe the story behind it. If you are speaking about new cars then yes a corvette is the best deal for the money. But i believe it is dumb to buy a new car. Buy a used car with 4k miles and save yourself a few thousand dollars and still retain the factory warrenty and of course the new car smell.
