  • Bea was a beautiful woman! She, Rue, and Estelle are sorely missed. I hope with all my heart to meet them one day. <3

  • Yeah, I agree that Bea definitely seems transsexual -perhaps she had a sex-change very early in life, the entertainment industry loves to promote anything messing up gender-identities and concepts in society. It's why so many iconic male movie stars were in fact gay. Lady Gaga same thing: evidently a trannie and there's quite a few more, Dalida, Amanda Lear & who knows how many others...

What is certain is movie-stars are overwhelmingly messed up in some way...

  • What a beautiful lady Bea Arthur was!!

  • wow!! those photo's are very authentic!! very nice, how did you find them!! you are a good video artist!! make a another video with good pictures of the the other golden girls!! i will love it!! you sir have impressed a girl!! way to go stud!! ;) drop me a line sometimes, sweetie! xoxo!

  • Didn't care for the music, but good photos

  • She was a beautiful young woman. You know I'm watching "The Golden Girls" marathon right now, and they had a retro episode (the birthday one) with a woman portraying Dorothy as a younger woman. I Googled Bea Arthur in the hopes of seeing her young and comparing her to the actress who portrayed her. They did a pretty good job, except that Bea was even prettier than the actress who portrayed her.

  • is that here with lucy at the 1:40 mark

  • R.I.P. BEA ARTHUR...THE 1ST TRANSGENDER ACTRESS!

  • @TWINKYBUTTFUCK1975 I still mastrabate while watching her on GoldenGirls every single day and night! I jerk off to her/him/it often

  • @Lindawatcher I MASTURBATE TO REGIS,BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW REGIS IS A HERMAPHRODITE AND NEVER MADE CHILDREN!

  • My eyes are...sweating. Or something. She was my favorite Golden Girl

  • Bea Arthur was definitely something special and what a young beauty she was! I never saw youthful pictures of her before. This is a must see. She was an entertainment winner.

  • I wonder if Ms. Bea Arthur had that deep sultry voice during her young days? Iliked her quick come backs on the Golden girls.I rememer jer a little from Maude too

  • @charlenemonique1 She and Betty White were hysterical together. The actresses on "The Golden Girls" all were excellent, but the crackerjack timing between Arthur and White was classic.

  • Wow, that picture at 1:34...

  • Is that her singing?

  • @dawnjakeleah that's 1234 by Feist

  • Rest in peace all of the golden girls! except betty white. We will forever watch your shows. We will miss you 3

  • Bea was not conventionally beautiful but that's what made her MORE beautiful than an ordinary looking "beautiful" woman. LOVE YOU, BEA!

  • Bea was not conventionally beautiful but that's what made her MORE beautiful than an ordinary looking "beautiful" woman. LOVE YOU, BEA!

  • Wow...she was lovely...with those same piercing eyes and beautiful smile that she had all the way to the end...RIP Bea

  • Wow...That was certainly the last song I expected to hear when I clicked on this. :)

  • She was a dark and exotic beauty when she was younger.

  • At 1:10 that is my favorite picture

  • All your song choices are perfect!

  • She was a handsome woman. That's not an insult. To call a woman handsome is to say she is striking and imposing in good looks rather than conventionally pretty.

RIP Bea. Thanks for the memories.

  • I would like to invent a time machine so I could go back and smell Bea Arthur's butthole when she was young and hot. I bet it was sensational!

  • thank you for this video.. bea look so BEAutiful..... R I P

  • A true Golden Girl always remembered with love and affection

  • I will always miss her, what a class act.And she could crack me up with a look!

  • Not only was she beautiful, she was hilarious!

Bea Arthur remains one of my favorite actresses ever~

  • When I was a little girl in the 70s, I never dreamed that one day I would be old enough to be Maude and Bea would be gone. I miss her so much ! She inspired me and made me laugh. Rest in peace Ms. Arthur. You were one of a kind !

  • It is a beautiful tribute. Thank you.

  • It is beautiful. Thank you.

  • Wow - This is the first time I've ever seen her younger than when she played "Maude". Thank you for this moving tribute. Bea Arthur will be missed....

  • She gave us all so much pleasure...I am so glad that I made her acquaintance through her work...

    RIP

  • she was pretty...all through her life it seems nice vid rip <3

  • She (Bea) was something back in the silent era.

  • lovely lady!! death sucks. you are greatly missed Bea Arthur, RIP

  • Thank you so much for sharing all these fabulous photos, it's a precious gift ! ^_^

  • Watching Maude re-runs when I was a kid was something I looked forward to. Mom would let me watch them to get my mind off my night terrors, which made me afraid to sleep. I'll always have fond memories of dear Bea. Rest in peace, strong, lovely lady.

  • She still makes me laugh watching her, class lady xx

  • Bea was unique, a classic. There never was anyone on TV quite like her.

    She will always be missed.

    RIP Bea

  • beauty, style, and talent to boot!

  • Everyone dies, but all of our golden girls will live FOREVER

  • Very nice. Great job Sass! Never saw Bea Arthur so young and pretty.

    Yes, life is short.

    And the time flies away.

But the laughter Bea Arthur created will make her live forever and a day.

  • @lionsgate12345 Bea Arthur will be remembered not just for the laughter she inspired and for her understatedly great acting (she a grand mistress of the "pregnant pause," and with great dramatic economy and concision expressing the most important and germane, obvious or rare emotions in any scene), but as an uncompromisingly stentorian Junoesque Athena championing truth, wisdom, reason, and women's, human and underdog rights. Deserves her own Parthenon.

  • she was soooo beutyful always even till da end. she was my fav ggrl

  • Awesome pics and video.... Thanks for posting this... Bea will always be with us!

  • Nice tribute. Bea truly was golden. Miss Bea, Rue and Estelle. Glad we still have Betty.

  • Thanks for your great personality, and witty humor. You always did have a way of turning a rotten day into a fun one.

  • How beautiful was she? Though all the Golden Girls were such truly attractive women, I just always thought that Bea was the most gorgeous. Besides the fact that she was model tall, it was the way she carried herself, the way she moved, her earthy character, and that beautifully haunting face!

  • I agree! I thought Bea was the most gorgeous. She had a refined and elegant beauty. She was a very beautiful young woman but she looked so pretty during the end of the season of Golden girls. I wish I had her deep voice too.

  • well done! great!

  • I want stay a teen forever

  • She was very pretty I can't believe she died

  • Watched the video once and cried threw the whole thing:(

  • So awesome, I will always love Bea. Who in the world would not like this video????

  • My personal favorite picture of her is at 1:14... she looks absolutely stunning!!

  • Love you Bea!

  • wow at 1:26. Stunning!

  • Bea Arthur is one of the very few women that make me laugh. For some reason I do not find women comedians to be funny.

  • There will never be another Bea Arthur. Your videos are GREAT !!

  • Bea Arthur may you rest in peace.

  • Comedy is not the same without you Bea! Unique talent. Comic genius.

  • She was so beautiful and such a great comedic actress. This is my favorite of all. I only wish I could have seen the lifetime special that protrayed her. But very well done Sassyornek!

  • Beautiful photographs! She was handsome as a mature lady and striking as a young one. Thanks for including the shot from "Mame," a film dismissed as one of Lucille Ball's late-career missteps, but from which the Bea-Lucy duet of "Bosom Buddies" is pure gold.

  • LOVE YA MAUDE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I cannot believe how frikkin pretty she was when she was young. She was my fav Golden girl.

  • @cgailb Yeah what sort of era was that show, was that before she did Golden Girls.

  • Bea Arthur was one of my most Favorite performers ever.

  • truly a wonderful lady!!!!!!!1

  • truly a wonderful lady!

  • You don't see talent like Bea's anymore these days. Her death was a huge loss, I don't think anyone will ever be able to carry off her style and charm again.

I used to watch The Golden Girls when I was tiny and I always adored Bea. I miss her... :(

  • @DogHudson I agree, she was especially great in the golden girls as witty, but kind hearted Dorothy.

  • Does anyone happen to know how tall she was? Just curious.I loved her quick wit in the "Golden Girls",but I was small when she played,"Maude".but I remember my mother watching that show.

  • bea was so uniquely hilarious. just one of her looks could send you into a fit of laughter.

  • she was quite the looker in her younger days.

  • God that woman was a legend, she will always be remembered, and remain in my heart. Her comedy helped me through the worst moments.

  • i love you bea! your wit, humor, and honesty got me through many lonely nights after my divorce, may you rest peacefully. thank you sassy for taking the time to upload these pics

  • Aww thanks for putting this together, Bea had such classic features, she was so beautiful. The world lost a great talent when she passed. WE LOVE YOU BEA!

  • She was beautiful her whole life there was something outstanding about Ms Arthur I guess it was just class... so rare today.

    a real lady.

  • Rest in peace Beatrice we will miss you greatly

  • Nicely done! Thanks for the post!

  • is there a reason for her raspy deep voice anyone know, it was a just a great feature that made her different, I assumed it was because she was a heavy smoker I could have been wrong, if someone could correct me please let me know I would love to know the real thing, thanks

  • Very nice vid, I had never seen her when she was that young. We'll remember her always, she's the best.

  • question??? how come on Maude and Golden Girls she never ever wore any type of dress? was there a prob with her legs or something?

  • Wow she was really beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i love that even the baby pic has "the glare" RIP Bea

  • bea is soo pretty

  • What happened to her that made her so cynical and bitter?

  • OK # 1 She was an Actress. Not an Actor. Hate that crap. She developed her craft and became quiet good. Look at her awards.

  • @starr522 Well said. I hate that PC crap. Actress is correct!!

  • Wow.

I've never seen pictures of Bea when she was younger, until now.

    She was very gorgeous.

A really great lady and funny at that.

As a kid, I saw the Golden Girls *all* the time becuz my mom watched the show ev'ryday, but I never understood the show until now.

I never watched it again until I Bea died and they showed that whole marathon of TGG and I found the show extremley hilarious and I've been watching it ever since.

    Good Tribute

    =]

  • I say her best role was not on "Maude" or "the Golden Girls", but as the Italian mother in the film "Lovers and Other Strangers". About an Irish-Italian wedding where no one seems to be happy except the bride and groom. Bea plays a mother who is domineering, bossy, and orders everyone around. No wonder no one was happy---except the audience.

  • RIP Bea You are truly missed

  • RIP Bea Arthur. I'll miss her.

  • 1:46 is such a Dorothy look lol

  • I LOVE BEA!

  • lovely

  • Good looking girl back in her day.
