  • Nobuo Uematsu is an artist that paints with crotchets and draws with staves

  • WOW You are amazing!! How long did it take for you to learnt this

  • Jealousy. are your fingers on acid or something? thats amazing ^.^

  • Dude this was awesome ! I'm jazz piano player and for sure your skills are really impressive. Keep it on ! ;)

  • did you play the songs when they fight with Kuja ? before the final battle =x

  • @96300 I am not quite sure of the name of the OSTS. It is likely not found on the Piano Collections. So I probably have not touched it.

  • @ManHoPark

the name of the song is "Dark messenger" it isn't on the piano collections, but ocremix did a piano version of it.

  • @ManHoPark The music of the battle against trance kuja is called "dark messager"

  • @96300 This is the song for the final battle "Grand cross"

  • wow, there is seriously a person out there who plays THIS piece.

    amazing : D

this must be so hard to learn...

  • @AvailableNameForMe actually this piece isn't the hardest. Maybe in the top 3rd though, for what I have played.

  • @ManHoPark So what is the hardest FF piece for you to play?

  • @roshidon The hardest is by far those who fight. The second hardest piece is One Winged Angel. They are both from the final fantasy 7 piano collections. I have a video of those who fight, my brother CheonHoPark has a video of 1WA

  • @ManHoPark Forgot Jenova? :P

  • @bachu95 jenova looks harder than it is :P i can easily play jenova but those who fight, one winged angel and this are way longer and complicated

  • If it wasn't for the tv in the background, If i scroll down to where the video is unseeable, I would think that i'm listening to the actual piece from the ost. Thumbs up

  • this would be the best metal song ever. start the piano at 1:35 in the video and with drums and a guitar and it would be instant gold

  • 1:52 was amazing!!

  • exelente amigo me quito el sombrero¡¡¡¡

  • If I can fix my camera, I'm going to post a video of me playing this. I memorized it for college auditions. I think if you used the pedal more at the beginning, the sound would be far greater.

  • You are terrific.....a genius for me....

    Thank you for your show...

  • been better if you would have turned the tele off in the background.

  • Are you actually serious? Somebody plays (with virtually NO mistakes) an INCREDIBLY difficult piano piece, which sounds great, and instead of congratulating them all you do is complain about the TV being switched on in the background? That's pathetic. Well done ManHoPark; great stuff :)

  • nice responding to something said four months ago... real slick buddy, real slick.

  • lol i think he put it on his chandelia(light thingy)

  • I think you played the notes on a bass clef instead of a treble clef at 3:46 (the semi quaver accompaniment bit). Otherwise, good job.

  • Great playing, sir. How long have you been playing?

  • great!! where u put the video recorder btw XD

  • Great song!!!!

  • Absolutely awesome! I'm still working on "To Zanarkand" and some other FF-Stuff that is less difficult.

  • Me too!!! I can't wait until I can play some of the harder stuff.

  • ahhh, To Zanarkand. the first piano song i ever learned. its awesome.

  • yeh but wayyy easy =P

  • You should call your friends and made them scream like in the game

  • LOL thats a good one!

  • good work im looking in going into game development or testing eithier one sience you take critisium u missted a couple of notes but othere then that good work

  • Wow man that is sick.

  • Wow, just wow. First video I've seen of yours, and I'm definately going to watch the rest.

I've always liked piano, but recently I've been paying more attention to it. You've got skills, and was interested in how this compares to the game version.

  • he did a good job emulating it

  • Lol you misunderstand. I've heard the game version plenty of times, even got it on my computer.

What I meant was I saw the link to this video, and wanted to know how similar it would be so I viewed it.

  • oh. haha. im playing ff7 now. disc 1

  • 厲害~~太棒啦~!

    Great~~Good Job~!

  • amazing. Into Favs x

  • loveee it, this song is so amazing

  • wow, that was amazing! I wish I could play like that...

  • Great work, hope you can get the degree!Lol

  • You're a really talented person, you're going to go places with skills like this! Great job!

  • keep going with the piano- i can tell you like it

  • Yes,IX is 9

  • Can you please do play "Suteki Da Ne"?

  • is IX 9??

  • I'd also like to say that I mean many parts don't have that same rythme, not like beep-to-pop...

  • well they allready have a ost versions... it would be pointless to put out a piano collections version.... not only that but the piano collections are for more advanced students.

  • Doesn't even matter.

Piano collections actually makes the pieces sound more like a piano piece.

I actually like the piano collections a lot.

I personally play the piano also, btw.

  • @Ozma00X it's an arrangement of the original. an arrangement takes elements of an original composition and alters it.

  • Not bad, though you did miss a few things. Check my favorites for this song on piano and listen to it. That should help in case you ever do play again.

  • could you tell me where u got your sheet music plz?

  • that is good, hey guy can you pass this partition and the enternal harvest

  • Baldwin or Wurlitzer ?

  • This song is just amazing ^^ I remember getting to the final boss the first time and hearing this :O They should have used it much more :) Great job

  • wow this video is great your really good on the piano

  • Good job. From Memory too. Wonderful job. One thing that might help with rhythm is to use a metronome... even if your not playing. It helps to just randomly listen to the desired tempo setting during the course of the day. Tedious, yes, but you can reap great rewards. That would help with that shaky syncopated left to right hand passage. Keep up the good work!

  • Great!

  • Holy damn. How is it that I have been watching your channel for months but havent seen this till tonight? Amazing...i wonder how it would work if it were played during the battle..

  • i think thatz pretty damn cool.

  • man that is some awesome shit!

i play the piano myself...and i awe you for that peace :D

  • there's some tension on the shoulders good job though!

  • lol johnko80

  • your really good and you have a realli long essay but still really good

  • Wow, that must've taken a long time, awesome tho

  • Wow... this dudes got mad skillz

  • wow.. this IS gonna be the next piece i play after You're Not Alone...(lol, oh why do i like taking the hard way)... Amazing like always, i put this on repeat when im studying US history XD

How long did it take you to nail this one? must've been a while eh?

lol i swear i heard someone near the end.

Man, the memories I get when hearing this song... stupid sexy Trance Kuja...

  • n...no wait i dont think he's sexy i take that back i meant that in a stupid gay funny way.

  • lol.... kuja is one weird guy... I can't tell if hes a real guy or a guy who likes being a girl. Especially when he has hi belly hanging out like that =\

  • LOL YEAH HAHAHAHAHAH

He has some cool moves though. If only he was playable... destruction EVERYWHERE. he just looks somewhere and BOOM, he exploded my house. LOL funny though ahhaha high belly.

    He dresses really funky too.

  • wait wait waaaitt

Please note that the *he* range of dynamics is fairly diverse in this piece.

i dont get this sentence in your long essay.

  • lol, it's hard to tell if he's gay or not O.o

  • ummm are you ignorant? you must be! do you like him, is that why you ask? MORON

  • well if he is that must be good news for you huh?

  • i love piano music, i wish i could play.

  • bloody good!!

  • is it me or do you have a twin brother who playes piano 2 ? :P nice work man !!!

  • yes, i am a twin sir !

  • nice!

  • oh my god, look at the description and click more.

  • I can see that the middle pedal can be useful at the beginning lines of the song but after it gets into the chords being palyed in both hands the damper pedal sounds best there. throguhout the rest of the song it would ahve sounded better with the damper pedal though

  • I knwo you wwer expirimenting but the only thign i didn't like was the lack of the damper pedal the jumpyness between notes was sorta.....aaaaaaa.....

  • The root of most of the chords are not even close in the begining.

  • Thats intentional, when the wrote the piano collections versions they tryed to add some funky atmosphere

  • Not they, Shiro; he isn't more then one person.

  • I thought it was written as a collbaoration between shiro and Nobu, primarily Shiro, my mistake sorry

  • Man I always get to your vids late >_<. most things have already been mentioned, but i can repeat one because it deserves to be said. Well done on this piece! It requires a well trained technique to play well and you played it excellently. Your piano let you down big time though, it forced you to make some sacrifices. Above all, excellent work 5 stars.

  • Fantastic. My 2nd favourite of yours.

  • I actaully tried to perfect besaid island yesterday and for 5 hours it seems like it hasn't really changed much. In fact I think in the beginning I lost half of the technique on this song as well as articulation that I use to have due to the fact of lost visualization of notes. So I begin to realize that I feel a stagnent level of performance on the piano, but I am not saying that the videos have not improved at all though.

  • Probably the most dissapointing thing right now I find in music is that I can't seem to play what I as well as others want to hear especially after a lap of not playing specific pieces.

  • Have you tried playing besaido while viewing the sheets again?

  • actually the original recording is 4:30, from starting to ending sound, if you clock mine, from immediate sound to ending sound it is at 4:29... but I will check that out again....

  • Yeah don't listen to them it was actually almost perfeclty tempo'ed

  • a lil slow but it was pretty awsome

  • a lil slow.. but your BEST video yet. 5 starz

  • I would say is You're Not Alone! is still the best.

  • I think so too... since the notes were pretty much intact as well as tempo. But it seems to get harder and harder to remain at that level since the notes are becoming more wide ranged and hastened.

  • All of your songs sound so beautiful. Do you cover just Final Fantasy/Nobuo Uematsu songs or do you do others from game soundtracks? Some Kow Otani would be awesome on piano. o_o

  • Awesome. : )

  • So, try to imagine what kind of image you're creating through your music. You don't necessarily have to think about the actual plot of FFIX, but if it helps, then do so. btw. even though I like classical pieces too, I really like this arrangement. It gives a sense of excitement. The LH makes you feel like "what's going to happen next". Good job. 5/5

  • I dislike being repetitive, so I'm pretty much not going to say anything, or else I'm going to seem like I'm copying Kyle. But, I liked how you expressed the piece, and as they all have said, there were good dynamics. I think you might want to work on the phrasing of some parts, mainly the right hand in the beginning. As my drum coach says, you need to use all the melodies and shape them to create imagery.

  • I don't have time atm to read your whole story, I'll do that later.

About the video: I think you did a very good job. Nice dynamics and feeling into it. I don't know this piece well enough to give you some advice, sorry about that. I only can say to you that I liked your performance. I think you're really improving, compared some of your older videos. Great job!

  • also I noticed on the second to last page, when there is large bass octaves, and then you do some chords aroudn middle C with the left hand, that part.. you need to play those chords a little more loudly, let them come out.

  • You should be imaging where you are on the sheets at all times so this octave thing doesnt occur. You should feel confident throughout the whole thing you know but I guess it's nearly impossible to be confident if you keep doing retakes. Thats why you should take little breaks somtimes. Ok as for the last page play it more softly, and much more smooth, practice this greatly. You need to kreep up on the nice 16th note octave run and make it all loud and sexy. (you played that part good btw)

  • The whole piece basically just needs to be smoothened out. I mean the dynamics were fine.

So just keep practicing nice and slow and steady and try to smoothen things out and get a more full feel with all the melodic notes. We both know that you hit some wrong octaves a couple times haha.

  • !!!!!!!! I NEARLY PISSED MY PANTS WHEN I SAW THIS IN MY SUBSCRIPTIONS... WAT A SURPRISE ... I HAD NO IDEA YOU WERE DOING THIS!! (I too have been doing this one)

  • Ok, I'm very sorry but I just don't have the time to read your description. Your beggining was very well played, and it think it was perfect. But you missed a high C at the end right?

As for the 8th notes in the left hand, you could try practicing them nice and slow and even and work your way up to playing them perfect for when you remake this vid (assuming you are).
