@robertmike219 any italian bike sucks. ducati=italian harley. that said, i love my sd990. just got 'r' heads, put 'em on this winter. should be 'bout 130hp to the back tire when done. better than the 109 i have now with filter, full system n reprogram. i roll on just fine with most 600s, some pull out a bit over 100, but i don't care. mine looks GOOD, not like every other bike on the road....sure do like the new zx-10, but im too into the twin sound.
wow that seems very high speed for a ktm... i hear some people comment that your wheel was smaller..well 17 inch instead of 18 would only make a 5.6% difference in reading... meaning if you can hit 280kph on your speedo, your STILL HITTING 265kph!!!! that is still like 165 mph!!!

You probably got one of those super-trick super dukes that came from the factory where they all the rest do 155mph - but not yours . . . . what a CHUMP !
i own a superduke, with the stock 38T the bike will only go 155 or so....your speedo is off..... wheel size should be 1870mm=17... put it on trip 2 and hold down mode and select so that you can change your wheel size....
Ok, here goes! i own 08 gsxr1000(sportbike) with all the tweeks, i also own a 07 husaberg supermoto(dirtbike with 17" wheels), and now own a ktm superduke 990( not a supermoto, but a street bike for the confused out there!!) My husaberg will do 200km with the front wheel changed to a 17" . True speed is 187km/hr(gps) my gsxr will do 299km, true speed 281km/h(gps) my ktm sd will do 250km/h, true speed is 144km(gps) this video is crap given alot of people false impressions.
If your superduke reach only 144km you must visit your mechanic because something goes wrong. Maybe the factory forgot to fit the rear cylinder and your unit has a single cylinder ho,ho...and you need to see a youtube video to notice that your SD is going wrong ho,ho.... Borrego!!!

666smoky right. In this box you can adjust the KTM inch front wheel. By varying the inches of front wheel, which comes standard 17-inch graduate .. and making such a wheel more grade for example, 19 inches .. speedometers mislead into believing that a larger wheel is spinning so fast .. and for this brand of real speed.
Nobody can tell us then what is the maximum speed reaching the Super Duke? I think around 240 - 250kmh tops.

in reality he did not even break 200km/h judging by RPM.

177mph/286kmh on an SD. sorry but no, even if you tuned the nuts off it. The RC8R is over 150bhp at he back wheel and even that couldn't accelerate through the last 30mph that fast. I know how light on the front a SD gets over 120mph and at 177mph you would struggle to keep it on the road. Got a Tuneboy by any chance? Maybe i'll go make a vid of my D675 reaching 200mph. Maybe tl1000edu changed the final ratio and the speedo overreads... but i assume the speedo is already off by quite a bit with stock settings. The real top speed for this bike 150-155 mph (according to the GPS)
Supermoto with 407 punds, thats over 200 kilograms, weighs more than my Kawa, Type in supermoto madness in searcher..Thats supermoto..Please dont persit to say superduke 990 is SM ..If you go to any page they sell bikes you can see its under Naked bikes...SM are Hard enduro or Cross with Street wheels on it..Weigh about 120 kg like CRF450 for example..I actualy own a 200 pound Naked/Fighter so im shure i prolly know more than you do..You are confusing Duke with Superduke 990...

Maybe tl1000edu changed the final ratio and the speedo overreads... but i assume the speedo is already off by quite a bit with stock settings. The real top speed for this bike 150-155 mph (according to the GPS)

Supermoto with 407 punds, thats over 200 kilograms, weighs more than my Kawa, Type in supermoto madness in searcher..Thats supermoto..Please dont persit to say superduke 990 is SM ..If you go to any page they sell bikes you can see its under Naked bikes...SM are Hard enduro or Cross with Street wheels on it..Weigh about 120 kg like CRF450 for example..I actualy own a 200 pound Naked/Fighter so im shure i prolly know more than you do..You are confusing Duke with Superduke 990...
