There are flash versions on doom on newgrounds but if you want a non browser version I would recommend getting dos box and a rom of doom.

First get zdoom and doom2.wad

ZDoom is free and you can get doom2.wad by googling it.

Then just drag the wad into the zdoom icon and your ready to play.

You can then download more wads and play custom maps or mods.

You can also download ZDaemon and even play online against or with other players.But if you want to play doom with awesome graphics you can try getting skulltag.Skulltag can also play zdoom wads ;)
