I'd say he might be joy personified =) Had the pleasure of meeting him in person at a recording of a video with an orchestra, and the memoriy still soundly remains. Hope you're keeping well Nic!! And keep up the happy feet!
A couple of years ago I managed the stage at the Great American Irish Festival (on a saturday) and had the pleasure of meeting this ham both on and off stage...an absolute pleasure! his love for what he was doing was as evident behind stage as on....and he was as humble about it as well....keep dancing brother!!
He is the personification of joy when he dances! Have had the pleasure of seeing him perform with David Munnelly band at Winfield Bluegrass fest several years - what a treat!
I love the fact that in all of Nic's videos, he is smiling. You cn tell someone loves what they are doing when, even while physically exerting themselves, they are smiling!
They made this into the song that is one the Soundtrack for "Cold Mountain" its called "Ruby with the eyes that sparkle" Go back were you came from! Now Git! LoL.
It's an old appalacian fiddle tune. Originally called "Shove The Pigs Foot A Little Further Into The Fire" by a fiddler recorded in the 20's and 30's, Marcus Martin. They changed the name for Cold Mountain and added some lyrics. So there ya go.
You're the man!

Great, but should have tucked your shirt in your pants to cut a more graceful, elegant jib.
