Albert Collins has a touch that others don't: All great guitarists for sure but Albert speaks with the instrument, others just play with it. If only I had one ounce of his talent. Just an opinion, and personal preference, but if you listen to his work you might hear it too. Subtle, tasty and cool. That is Albert Collins.

Just an opinion but all great and bring there own thing to the table. not a comment on this video but in general I view as follows. In no order.

1. Beck. Technician

2. B.B. sweet sugar like tones and bends and vibrato.

3. Albert. Does anyone play blues as funky? I would really like to hear it.

4. Buddy Guy... Attack and phrasing, cool as fuck.

5. Clapton. Probably could do what all the above do, to a lesser degree, but went astray after Bluesbreakers and John Mayall. SADLY.

IMO that's what makes blues and Jazz great compared to modern music, the lyric implies the idea (not well hidden) the music brings it to life. As opposed to lets hear a lot of shit, and get scantily clad women dancing around in next to nothing with no real music underpinning the whole thing..
