This is probably a stupid question. If your hotels happens to not serve alcohol anywhere, can you always just eat at a restaurant at another hotel that does serve alcohol even if you are not staying there?

Women tourists who are pregnant beware. Dubai arrested a woman a couple days ago after she had her baby in their hospital and they found out she was not married and arrested hertook her babay from her, and sentenced her to 6 months in jail and every Friday untill she gets out she is to be beaten. Her husband is from Nepal,he is not muslim, he took off and went home when he found out he was in trouble with the muslims in Dubai.

I am in Dubai now... what I found is that they allow certain people to get away with it, while they punish others. Don't know based on what. Funny thing is hookers are everywhere and so blatant in harrassing you in the streets in front of people, offering sex and stuff.
But regardless... what was that woman thinking delivering an out of wedlock baby there?
