Great idea, not so great execution. There were a lot of slow parts, at places where it needed to be fast, (hand sequence with the ponytail guy) That part was a good concept, seemed very "movie like," but could have been executed better. Not bashing the movie, I just have complaints... ^_^'

Yes thats it, style dosnt matter, as bruce lee said long time ago.

One thing i dont like and tryin allways to prevent is american style of martial arts scenes.

That means, simple choreography, one round kick or punch and 3 cuts,

I hate that.

Jackie Chan is best example how martial art scenes should look a like.

Thats why when action in action movie during martial arts scenes dont know even a shit about MA, takin some fast course and then doing MA scenes, like Reeves and Weavin in Matrix.

Iam into martial arts since my 14th.

Its about 7-8 years now.

Ive gone trough several styles, like shaolin kung-fu, wing tsun kungfu, and some combat sports like TKD itf, kickbox, freefight.

Of course, not everystyle is incorporated in this choreography.

Iam sugesting you to learn combat sambo, forget karate if you dont have good karate master-trainer then it wouldnt help you.

Muay thai is good choise, also jiu-jitsu.

Combine these with freeright- ground fighting techniqes, would help alot in street, most of fights ending on ground.

Weaponary- cali, kendo, crisma? or not sure that last one.

If you look to sucha older movies, there are no realistic sound effects, so thats why those sound effects are like they are in this video:-)

It really doesn't matter on the style of fighting. Any style can be seen as great with a good practitioner. So the fighter makes the martial art. I am doing traditional kung fu whihc is a mix of many styles of kung fu.

the sound effects are from various sites and sources. Many web sites have available sound effects for free to download. So there is really no problem to get sound effects. Tricky is to put them properly to each scene and move...
