Good to see you again, my Brother. Yes, there is a user in South Carolina who routinely thumbs down my videos. He comes in, usually, just after midnight CST and at intervals of about 2 minutes thumbs down my videos. What these people don't realise is that, YouTube is giving up all their secrets with this new look. The new analytics is VERY revealing indeed. It gives you the day, date and time the deed is done, and often a few weeks later, your username too.
@InTheSpirit12 I forgot to tell you - this person has three channels, all in South Carolina. Somebody once said to me of people who spam Scripture, that they are actually censoring God's word. I had never thought of it like that before, but it is the truth. Fancy standing before God one day, and being asked by hIm, "Why did you spam away my holy word - my word, which I magnify above my very name?" I don't think I would quite know what to answer.
Jesus is engaging these people in a logical argument. The conclusion, "fruit", result, or end of which is damnation.
Axiom: Salvation is by works. Premise: I have sinned. Conclusion: I go to Hell.
But if their argument had been:
Axiom: Righteousness is imputed to me by Christ, who also paid for my sins. Premise: I have sinned. Conclusion: It would be unjust to punish twice, and Christ has imputed righteousness to me, a sinner. I avoid Hell and go to Heaven.
A propositional apollogetics technique when arguing with an unbeliever or heretic is this: Do not try to lead them AWAY from their presupposition, but rather take it to its logical end!
It is remarkable how Jesus does just that in this account. He doesn't say "salvation isn't by works, bozo." Rather, He takes their argument to its logical . . . and ULTIMATE end. It's like He's saying "Hey, if you want to be judged by your works, then you still have your sins."
>>> after having suffered the consequences of many stupid mistakes and finding that my Lord had not forsaken me I began to see through new eyes and finally accept Him as my savior. The journey from heathen to bondservant to a son and brother has been a very necessary one and I need to remember how long it took and that that journey continues until I leave this body. Beware the EGO...Edging God Out. If I know of Him but don't know Him I will never have Him.
@tysy73 The Bible says of the Chosen people of God - the Elect:
"According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:" - Ephesians 1:4
Because of the Sovereign choice of God, I believe that all the Elect WILL come to a knowledge of the truth. Those who continually kick against the goads, will be found outside of Christ on that great and terrible day. Ever learning, never coming to a knowledge of truth.
I remember the sheer joy I felt when I finally understood something of the salvation of Christ. To practice righteousness as acknowledgment of His lordship was a good start. Unfortunately, I was very dogmatic and legalistic for quite some time, as is usually the case for those living under lordship and law.
Thankfully, over time I came to understand more about grace, forgiveness, forbearance, giving others the benefit of a doubt, and just how inadequate I am on my own. >>>continued>>
What!?! Three dislikes and 0 likes? I guess professing Christians hate clear biblical teaching. John Robbins was a fantastic teacher.

False prophets are merely people who profess false propositions.
