This time the new college grate can get a job or find jobs easily. Kick all those greedy corrupted governments to the buddha temple so they can get their degree in selfish greed management class and the true Democracy class. See, the thai governments all fail on this lesson.
@prophercy2012 I'm not sure exactly what you're saying, but it sounds like you have some interesting stuff to say about all this. Unfortunately your account is closed so I can't see if you have any videos up. Thanks all the same for the comments.
thailand is fuc up right now due to fingering who's did this or that. They divided in two group now. So to bring back thai unity , They just need to kick all the thai governments out include kick viet blood abhshit out AND let the new college grate to run and elect to be the next PM and all new government members. This way the new attitude of the young or new generation will get along better.
Then no worries! The new government will find a way by buying out the protesters and Thaksin can stay away and never come back! Hopefully peace will be restored.
@markyboy07 - That Laos statement is totally uncalled for. Laos is a much better, more peaceful country than Thailand. The reds are wrong, but attitudes like yours don't do anything to help Thailand.
In case you have not noticed, it's not the police who are dying but the civilians. And don't believe that Thaksin has the money to pay 1000 of people to go and protest in BKK, maybe the red shirts leader but the movement did not start with Thaksin incentives. As for no democracy in Asia. Obviosuly there will not be without fair elections! Get real!!!
@markyboy07 Markyboy, inciting people to violence is not ok. I can't stop you from doing it, but I can stop you from doing it on the comments to my video. I'm going to delete this if you don't delete it yourself.
These people are not stupid. They are calling for democratic elections in a country where a democratically elected government was ousted by military powers and other elites. Personally I would do the same if it happened to my country. I don't care if Thaksin was corrupt at least he was democratically elected and representative of the Thai people. The new government did not waste time in getting corrupted anyway, actually they were already corrupt to start with...
@christophe73 -Thaksin OPENLY BOUGHT VOTES! He was not democratically elected either!! May I suggest you learn a bit more about Thai politics before assuming that this is a fight for democracy or a fight for anything other than Thaksin's money. Thaksin's party wouldn't even allow the other parties to hold political rallies in the north and northeast. Thailand isn't civilized enough to have democracy.
The Nation says that blue is the colour of the Bhum Jai Thai political party, but if you do an image search for Bhum Jai Thai, you won't find many photos of people wearing blue shirts. When the red shirts (UDD supporters) were disrupting the ASEAN summit in Pattaya, it was reported that groups of people tried to stop them, wearing "blue and other couloured shirts" (the Nation, May 19, 2009). Searching for "blue shirts" and Thailand will help you find out more.
@matthewvaughan I was in Bangkok, Patong, Krabi, Chaing Mai, and some smaller towns doing some traveling in Thailand with my backpack. Was a good one.
According to Thai astrology it states that "From year 2009 onwards Thai people will fight each other to death and to the destruction of the whole nation and their survival will be saved after they dare to kill their Terrorists government who hire protesters for money, 500 Bath for normal protesting and up to 1000 Bath a day for there more agressive things!!!
PAD are scared to call for an election because they know they will lose, it was proven 3 times already. And PAD still not happy, keep saying they buy votes. No they won it by caring for the poor where no other party in the history of Thailand have done. Instead PAD put them down and call them dumb and stupid. PAD should be for all Thais not just the rich, than maybe than can win some votes through a democratic process instead of a military coupe.
PAD are an unelected group that got into power with the backing of the army and other "influential" powers. Sure the reds are not perfect - Thailand is a totally corrupt place - but it's only the reds that will do anything for the poor. PAD only look after the rich and couldn't care less for the poor - it's keeping them poor that keeps the PAD backers rich.
I'm so tired of you guys using the poor as an excuse for your own goodness sake. What do you know about the poor?Have you ever been moved with compassion when you see some one wearing old shoes or has no shoes at all? Have you ever thought about giving up your luxury so other less fortunate people can have a few meal?
if not, then u r just talking.
If u answer yes, then that's good for you, that's how we should be, not just talking about the poor and do everything opposite, just for your self.
Do you ever listen to what the Red have to say? Thaksin won through a democratic election. PAD and its party by force. Thaksin did so much for the ppr, he made them equals to the Hi So. PAD always claims that he bought them by votes? No buddy he did not give them money, he gave them hope. The poor part of the Thailand was developing rapidly under Thaksin effective programs, but PAD took over took it all away from them. So where is the justice, and you can see why the RED are angry.
I wish that Maj Gen Anupong will make as good as Cap Gen Pinochet in Chile. No pity fo communists. Remember 11/09/73in Santiago... Remember Allende...
I'm a foreigner who disagrees with the actions of the reds (disrupting the ASEAN summit, attacking the PM's vehicle, using the Monarchs name in vain, etc.). There seems to be a great divide in the ideas of the people of this nation. As a non-Thai who frequently visits Bangkok, my main source of information is from all the international news channels.
I would suggest those who disagree with the 'red shirts' to PEACEFULLY PROTEST by NOT USING TAXI SERVICE unless they can prove to not be red.
THaksin just wants democracy to return to Thailand, so that he can come back here to fight court charges in a fair manner and that the poor can rise against present dictatorship who are backed by tha army generals and corrupt government
. Many red shirts are willing to storm BKK and voice their opinions on their own. Almost everything (media, military, courts, etc) is controlled by the government, and the government is backed by the Privy Council.
You're right, that's not peaceful. Still, it doesn't sound like fighting with you was actually part of the demonstration proper. I do like how you rhymed 'ass' and 'pass' in your comment.
When RED Government was ousted by the public, people have tons of solid evidences, ie. bankrupting Thai airways by allowing Taksin airline to take over Thai Airways flights, loaning government money @ very low interest to Myanmar project built by his company. What they have against Apisit? The ousted government said they found a picture from his wedding and they noticed that his bride was wearing jewelery that wasn't declared before he became the prime minister. It's so easy ... who's the bad guy?
The Reds were ousted by the military not the public. All Thai politicians are corrupt - everyone knows that - but at least Thaksin did something for the poor. There will be no justice in Thailand while PAD are in charge - the rich just look after themselves. Look how it's possible for a rich guy driving an expensive car to mow people down at a bus stop and get away with it!!! Only the rich...........
Thaksin did something for the poor and did even more for his own family and his cronies. If you can see that then you are pretty blind. The Reds were ousted by people in Bangkok as well even when they were armed, not only by the justified military troops to bring order to the city that was ruined by violent group of brainless people. These people had to risk their lives for someone pushing a remote button from outside the country with his family enjoying your rightful money!
"did someth'n for the poor"?To state that, u r either B.S. or really being stupid. Like I said, though they tried, they found no wrong in Apisit. To sincerely do something for some one, it(the action) has to cause one something. What did Taksin lose?Nothing, the money he spent belong to the tax payers(himself not included cause he often avoids paying tax). What did he gain?Favor from the poor. It's win win situation that I think an elementary school student can come up with such simple idea.
This time the new college grate can get a job or find jobs easily. Kick all those greedy corrupted governments to the buddha temple so they can get their degree in selfish greed management class and the true Democracy class. See, the thai governments all fail on this lesson.
