Can somebody explain the coolant radiator to me? Is it above those fans? Does that mean there are 3 fans under the radiator, and then 2 fans above that?
Just got one of these as part of a prebuilt machine on new egg. The machine runs warm and that is partially due to the front 120mm fans barely working. On high they trickle air in and on low they stop...
Also the front hot swap bays are really finicky. I put my backup drive in one and it didn't work. I have only ONE hot swap bay that reliably works.
The front USB 3.0 is atrociously installed via a pass through cable that sticks out the back of the machine and not connected directly to the MB.
@PariahOfTheKOHLM replace the fans, hot swap bays are lame, and that little hole above the i/o port at the back... that's for the usb3.0 cable, it can be routed behind the mobo tray, and out that hole, you don't see it inside the case, and it's not as bad as the other five or six cables hanging down the back of the tower.
1) I have replaced the fans, but as a note any fans you plug into the 12v 2 pin array that the pre-installed fans were plugged into will also run slow. That means anyone replacing the front fans will want to run them off of the molex 12v. This can crowd things, but it's fine.
2) It's fine if you say it is lame, but the fact of the matter is that if you pay for something it should work shouldn't it?
3) I rerouted that cable myself. They should have done it that way to begin with.
@PariahOfTheKOHLM look at the ugly green pcb in the hdd cage. personally I would take those out, the array I wouldnt use, I'd grab a nzxt sentry 2, as for wiring it yourself there's risk of something being damaged if they left a wire hanging out the back, if you're buying the case as part of a build you're doing there is no rear i/o to plug it into, part of a pre built there is no room in the box to have a usb3 sticking out of your mobo pins would get bent and damage your mobo
Don't buy from Cyberpower they consistently gets bad reviews for all the broken computers they ship out. If you don't believe me type in Cyberpower reviews in google, and go through it. Try Ironsidecomputers(dot)com instead. Those guys consistently do a great job.
@PersianProductionsX Sadly, i take back what i said about you being fucking stupid. I just noticed they didn't put in my push pull radiator setup in correctly and missing one of the 120mm fans for it. WTF cyberpower! So i called them and luckly an american answered the phone and get me an RMA number so I can get the fan i paid for. so rediculious.....
You're just a hater. They don't charge you for shit. I had a hardware come in as defective inside my desktop, they replaced it for free. You're fuckin stupid.
i have this case with all air cooling.. amd 4x core, 8gb of ram and hd 6870 and this is the best.. its huge which i like cause cooling is never a problem.. cpu cooler is cooler master hyper N520 and my hd 6870 has a GELID Solutions GC-VGA02-01, everything over clocked, my temps never go over 60c mainly cause of how much air this this moves.. if anyone says it doesnt move air.. they can sit on a big thumb... this case 5 out of 5 hands down
I am typically wary of sites like Ibuypower when it comes to cases and cooling, but I am very impressed by that machine. Now if I was not so gun-ho about building my own (And had the money) I would be looking into purchasing that machine.
people who buy from cyberpower are too fuckin lazy to build their own beast. dumb company. i could build the exact same pc for way less money and less time instead of waiting a fuckin week or somethin.
UPS 3-day turned out to be over a week, but my Cyberpower PC finally arrived last week. So far I'm happy with it. Fast and wasn't loaded with a bunch of bloatware (thanks very much for that).
WOOO! my case! :D bought from CPPC :D this case is sure great because its quite dusty where i live and quite unavoidable. cleaning is great and simple. whole case running at full fan speed is a bit noisy but who cares when u have 7.1 surround sound headphones blasting :D~
does the case have any limitations in terms of radiator thickness? Will that extremely thick xspc rx360 radiator fit inside together with 3 25mm thick fans?
This is a case the Heathen Gods would be proud of. hehehe. It's big, powerful, awe-inspiring, and will strike down with thunder and lightning from Zeus and Thor. This is surely a head-turner at your (LAN-Boy) parties, but be-aware it is heavy and awkward to move and deal with
I would advise, if people have the cash to get this case, definitely!!! This is going to be my last case, because I love it so much and know it'll last. It's fucking sweet with my Blue, Green, and Orange Cathode lights.
I can actually hear the cop-cars and aid-units whizzing bye 24/7 into my community.(lol) I did switch out the Black plain 120mm fan in the back, and added a 120mm fan on the bottom with my Black & Orange translucent (LED) Xigmatek fans.
I also should point out, that the 120mm fan on the right-side above the CPU/MoBo slot, is not a standard 120mm "thick" fan---it is a 120mm "Thin" fan, major difference in thickness!!! I tried a standard 120mm fan & it wouldn't fit and nearly bent the case.lol.
120mm front fans is one of the biggest plus and easily popped-out with plastic snaps, so no more having to spend time and bloody-fingers unscrewing the front case and unscrewing the fans thus stripping the screws, etc. One of the biggest things I like about this case, is as this guy said, is the the 2x230mm fans on the side with their own carved-out enclosure so the fans don't take up precious room and wires getting caught in the fans. The airflow is amazing, and never heard such silence before
Azza gives you enough supplies along with it, and the cable management is long and effective with is a plus as well. I don't use those (HDD) swap-drive bays though, because I have a really nice Steel/Metal Sytrin 5.25 bay (HDD) cooler with two front fans which sits in between my 2 (DVD) burners. Thankfully Azza added a 5.25-to-3.5 converter, so I could mount my card (AIO) reader.Azza scored a big plus with smoothing this case, so I don't cut myself, and the front flip-open cover house the 2
when I saw this case, the box was fucking enormous as the size of a German Tiger tank.(lol). I couldn't grip the box and had to wiggle it inch by inch into my living room. I been throughout about 10 cases within the past 2 years, including the (Azza Spartan) and this case replaced my $120 Xigmatic Black case with window which housed 6 120/80mm fans, which now sits in the table lot. This case is gorgeous, huge, spacy, etc; and as this guy says in the video---it's built for air-flow!!!
This is definitely a full-sized tower, and would be excellent for servers or (SLI'ing). I am not into that fancy water-cooling and (SLI'ing) and (Raiding) multiple hard-drives, but I have a shit-load of Cathode lights (5) and shitload of wires and female-to-male connectors from fan-controls, fans, etc; which gets clogged up in mid tower cases and obstructs air-flow. When I answered the door, from UPS, the poor lady had to wheel this sucker up on the Dolly.(lol). I was complete shock, at first
Just got my case via UPS at 1:30PM yesterday FOR $130 W/ free S&H from Newegg. It was between this and the (Sentey Arvina Extreme) case for $140 plus/ $20 S&H, which I really wanted, but decided to take my mother out to dinner so this was my next favorite case and saved me $30. Let me say, this case was far better then the pictures. I am not the one the to go all out for complete show-windows but I definitely want windows, and Azza adding them in the style they did is gorgeous and bad-ass.
Yeah, she is my mom, we suffered through really bad shit together throughout out lives, and she does a lot for me even though she is poor and works 2 jobs just to make ends meet, and puts me before herself, so it was the least I could do for her when I have money. hehehe
I am really glad though I did it and got this case, because this case is amazing and the air-flow is amazing beyond belief and shit-load of room!!!
I am always upgrading, want the best money can buy!!!
then I give my other stuff away, like I just did with my $120 Xigmatek Black Edition case and an AMD Phenom X3 Toliman 8450 processor to a friend for free.
The Airflow is so great that I can feel the breeze from it giving me chills, as it sits right next to me!!! -hahah
The only thing this case doesn't do, it cook my dinner and clean my apartment and make love to me!!!
I will eventually get the other case as well if they still have it, and mother will have to!!!hehehe
i have it, i have been looking at it for a week and my last two cases were black as well as the case on the pc in my brother's room. this case is black, not grey. it is completely black.
@diablolrm90 Na cause I'm looking at it right now, you know, on this video....
If you want to see a case that's actually black, be my guest and search for metal case that is black.
I can clearly see that it is made out of plastic, and when you color plastic "black" everyone knows it appears as a matte grey color, just due to the nature of plastic. But when you powder coat metal black, it is actually black. I know you don't like to think about this phenomena, but it exists none the less.
@TheBlitz1 Nvm abt that. Ok, consider this, we case owners have seen the actual case, we look at it everyday, we obviously know the colour of it better than you, who base your opinions on a video instead of the actual product
@TheMastroAntonio na cause i looked at the case on newegg and its still the same pasty grey color, i think it might be because the outer bit is plastic
@poncekid56 I bough an i7 950 system from them about two months ago I am pleased with it. The customer support does not answer emails so you have to call them but over all they are about a 4 out of 5 in my book. Their prices are way lower than anybody else.
Waiting for my college money to come in. Upgrading from a Xclio A380BK to this. Also getting new motherboard (and maybe processor...) and upgrading to more memory (12gb). I am hoping to get a SSD sometime next year when the prices decide to lower
IMO, I have seen some ugly cases before, but this one takes the cake. Hurricane ...hum...with all that plastic, it surely wouldn't survive a hurricane...lol
@WestCoastMods everyones entitled to their opinion, I won't get upset because you don't like it, the design is good, they actually changed a lot, the two side fans mounted into the door is a great idea, their solano 1000 fan was inside and a lot of people had to remove it due to air coolers, the support for trip rad is great too, I like that you can keep your two 230mm fans while having a triple rad and three fans inside, and still not covering your mobo. just my though thoughts, :)
@WestCoastMods yeah, I like all your videos, they are great, one thing I noticed with this case is it's really well thought, well at least in some aspects. it's not really modder friendly in terms of cutting holes, and what not, could be painted or something probably, i'm no modder though, I could be wrong, I just like the way things are set up on it, granted it's not the best looking case it does have features i'm looking for, I haven't ordered it yet, i'll let you know if it's good or not :).
@j7x54 bigger fans are able to move slower while moving the same amount. As apposed to smaller fans which would have to move faster.
Seeing as this has a whopping 4x 230mm and 3x 120mm, you can keep your fan speeds at a very very lower percentage [which makes them pretty darn quiet]. However if you were to crank up the speeds it'd probably sound like a jet engine
Did he replace the 2 230mm fans with a radiator and 3 120mm fans?

@poncekid56 I bough an i7 950 system from them about two months ago I am pleased with it. The customer support does not answer emails so you have to call them but over all they are about a 4 out of 5 in my book. Their prices are way lower than anybody else.

I got my computer 2 years ago. It's Great but the 2 Nvidia Gtx 460's get hot and the sata 6 Gb/s hdd constantly disconnects.

@unokilo321 Your right everyone is entitled to their own opinions...if you like the case...great.
Hope you enjoy it.

@WestCoastMods yeah, I like all your videos, they are great, one thing I noticed with this case is it's really well thought, well at least in some aspects. it's not really modder friendly in terms of cutting holes, and what not, could be painted or something probably, i'm no modder though, I could be wrong, I just like the way things are set up on it, granted it's not the best looking case it does have features i'm looking for, I haven't ordered it yet, i'll let you know if it's good or not :).

is this case loud?
j7x54 1 year ago
@j7x54 bigger fans are able to move slower while moving the same amount. As apposed to smaller fans which would have to move faster.
Seeing as this has a whopping 4x 230mm and 3x 120mm, you can keep your fan speeds at a very very lower percentage [which makes them pretty darn quiet]. However if you were to crank up the speeds it'd probably sound like a jet engine
