Sjonni died like two weeks before his semifinal in the national final, so they decided not to take out the song but continue participating with other singers as a tribute to sjonni but he didn't die after he won

The Backgroundhistory of this Song is a sad story, because Sjonnie was the former Bandleader- and Friend of them. He died after winning the icelandic-finals for competing the ESVC in Düsseldorf, so his Friends asked Sjonni's Wife, if they were allowed to sing this Song at Germany as a Tribute to Sjonni. She gave her ok, so the Band called themselve "Sjonni's Friends". That is, what i call true Friendship!

@GraverOne A bit wrong, he was supposed to perform this song as solo, and before the Icelandic national final, he died of a heart attack, so his friend participated in his name, and they won the national selection. :)
