  • Great. I know my high school biology, lady. What I need you to do is to digest the current research on chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia and give some informed suggestions. That is what a professional does. I don't want to hear about some retrovirus dead end theory. Either post something along these lines or stay a charlatan. Thanks!

  • I recommend you get a great book by Janet Hurrell called The Journey Through ME/Chronic Fatigue. I t is an A to Z in finding out the best nutrition health practitioners and lots more. Get it from Amazon, EBay And Auther House

  • Ok, so that was fantastic to see the exact process of whats going wrong with CFS BUT - taking enough Vitamin B's is NOT going to cure a cellular issue at the energy production level - if it's severe enough to BE CFS in the first place. I'm sorry, but there's just not an easy answer like that, let a lone a cure and it's kind of wrong to lead people on like that. I've been mega-dosing on every vitamin and mineral for the past two year, and NOTHING has helped, least of all B vitamins.

  • You sound like a dude imitating an old lady.

  • this is a great video, but does anybody know if proper atp synthesis creates oxygen radicals which destroy bacteria - fungus, viruses mycoplasma etc??? Or does it simply raise the ph high enough so they can't survive???

  • okay, so eating the right vitamins and foods will allow cellular respiration to happen properly and atp will be produced better - but how will this kill germs and how will this increase the ph high enough to alkalize all the body fluids? - especially when the germs are producing acidic waste. And what about other acidic drinks besides soda - like apple cider vinegar or orange juice - do these all need to be drank with food too?

  • can i just eat carbo or sugar which turns into glucose and gives energy? countinous supply of glucose will have me going ?is that something you would recomend for a fatigued person?

  • your voice makes it hard for me to watch.

  • I love your videos, I am a pharmacy tech and I think very simliar to you. I don't understand; why the health care inc can't look at the whole picture of the patients. I can't wait to hear more from you. I am very interested on your thoughts on eastern medicine.

  • Nice work Doc...Enjoyed Meeting You

    -EM

  • For those suffering from Chronic Fatigue - you should look into these things that can cause your symptoms...

    Candida

    Leaky Gut

    H. Pylori & Parasites

    Low Sodium

    Adrenal Fatigue

    Hidden Food Allergies

    Mineral Deficiencies

    Heavy Metal Toxicities

Most allopathic doctors do not understand Chronic Fatigue - your best bet is with an aternative medicine doctor

  • I apologize for all the posts..but I am just totally tired of getting the run-around with doctors, so I am desperate to find the answer with nice people like Rotcod.

    THANKS!!

  • I have been to all kinds of different drs. including traumatologists, sports drs, chiros, acupuncturists. It seems that nobody can help me, and many of them just aggravate the problem. I had a bad reaction to acupuncture, like a short circuit, and was temporarily paralyzed which caused pain in both of my arms afterwards. Im also trying all kinds of vitamins, etc. Anyway, without writing too much, I will list my symptoms with the worse and most persistent listed first. (have to post again)

  • Severe, chronic muscle cramps in legs and now in arms. (over 2 years..every minute of every day)

Zero energy at all times (I always feel like when I have the flu or cold)

Lymph nodes under my arms are swollen (have been for over 10 years, doctors always said its nothing to worry about!)

Really cold hands and feet all the time

Out of breath feeling all the time

    Cant gain weight

Cant sleep well, no matter how tired I am.

    Eyes sensitive to light

Slight acne problem (Im 47 years old!)

  • @cosmicwarriorband I had all these symptoms except can't gain weight. Got to the point where I was waking up in extreme muscle pain after only 2 hours of sleep. GABA powder before bed fixed that. Eating low carb gets rid of the acne. Getting hormone replacement helped with the body temp and the zero energy. If I double up on my hormones I feel great. But my doctor says he will not increase it because estrogen between 40-60 is normal for a 50 year old woman. Vitacost multi fixed my vision.

  • The last dr. I saw mentioned that my sugar was a bit low after eating, but said it wasnt anything to worry about. I read Rotcods stuff and I am feeling that I have some type of problem with metabolizing. I am allergic to yeast (I think) I have a very bad reaction to alcohol. I dont drink sodas, coffee, and of course alcohol. I am (was) a very active person and want to get back to playing my drums and riding my bike. Any suggestions on what I should try next would be very much appreciated.

  • Thank you putting you're knowledge and research into a clear message! Much of what you've said I've come across in my own research and thus makes it more credible but you connect the dots that other big pharma corporate whores won't touch on. I commend your courage on breaking away from the system for the sake of humanity. You're so funny, you sound just like me when I get frustrated with mass stupidity and shout out "Am I the only one who sees this? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here!"

  • Thank you ! Will try this and report back. More important 'mystery' stuff. MANY FM people are left-handed/have scoliosis, short leg ( ilial upslip), finger/feet toe anomalies, visceral anomalies, vertebral defects ( L-5, hemangiomas, cervical ribs), 4 surgeries for intestinal volvulus in our support group. ( I'm the leader 8 years.) Also suspected CNS anomalies. (one firm Dx of tethered cord/small posterior fossa) Rh neg. blood - at about 55% of group. Dr. R - please help figure this out !

  • O Dr. RotcodO - YES, YES, YES. But here is another problemO : My lactate dehydrogenase is LOW -O ! Only 60 to 70% of normal - 7 tests over 2 years. I keep asking my doctor (s): "What about this enzyme deficiency?" Answer: "Have you tried Cymbalta yet ?"

  • Lactate Dehydrogenase is dependent upon NAD. NADH supplements are available at most any healthfood or vitamin store.

  • What about hayfever ?

  • What about thyroid hormones vital role in energy metabolism???? I think she kind of missed that..

Secondly, we can't assume its strictly an energy deficit probelm when it maybe be a hormonal deficiency issue. with CFS i believe its a growth hormone deficiency. Pituitary is basically exhausted... Resulting in delayed and insufficient repair of tissues and muscle.

  • It takes ATP for endocrine cells to make hormones. Any deficit of any cell of any organ is always an energy/ATP issue at the cellular level! (Think chicken versus egg!)

  • There are 3 things ATP does.

    1. Provide energy (example is energy for myosin head stroke)

    2. Dissociation of Myosin head from Actin filament (thus, we need ATP for muscle relaxation as well)

    3. We also need ATP to pump out or collect Ca++ from Sarcoplasm back to Sarcoplasmic Reticulum.

  • Hey Doc what do you think about Royal Rife?

Looks very solid but they'll not allow it here; makes good sense but too little cents for our masters.

Flax/Celery seems to be a great combo to increase pH.

  • Mold and CFS symptoms are directly related to each other. You can prove this to yourself by going to walmart buying a $37 dome shaped 9x7 tent,(no stakes needed, nylon very low on VOC'S) setting it up in your bedroom and putting a medium to large size hepa filter in it. Don't come out without a respirator designed for asbestos and mold abatement EVER,For about a week anyways. I know I am not the only one with this condition. PLEASE TRY IT AND CONFIRM IT FOR YOURSELF WHAT YOU ARE UP AGAINST!

  • CFS is said to be related to mycoplasmas.

Which is a type of fungus. Fungi don't have fun in a non-acidic environment. Eat lots of fresh ground flax/yogurt or cottage cheese and raise your pH. Also will it clean your toxins, give you lots of fiber and omega oils. Called the Budwig diet it likely will create a non-cancer inducing environment.

Lots of stuff got better with organics, flax and GOOD water; lots of good non-fluoride water.

  • There are so many alternative treatments people hype, my reasoning is they can't all work so why believe in any without the studies to back them up. So as badly as main stream has dropped the ball on cfs their the best we have. I will never spend my hard earned dollars on any alternative treatments or the quacks that promote them. It's only encourages them to keep ripping us off.

  • You make a good point, but since mainstream medicine/pharma has no incentives to prove their competition correct I'd not hold my breath waiting for them here.

Research Fluoride use around the world and then ask why it's in our water. The same research arm that said asbestos is not bad is the only 'scholar' to say fluoride is good/?!? Their research is like Swiss cheese.

  • But main stream does show the effectiveness of the products they promote though double blind studies. Is it asking too much for alternative practitioners to do the same? Quackwatch is a great place to get information on controversial issues like fluoride , vaccinations, etc.

I sympathize for fluoride and vaccination activist's because it's so hard to prove their causing illness. It seems to be all about risk/reward. So far the evidence points to the reward outweighing the risk.

  • Actually on Fluoride their has been much research if you expand you scope to include Europe where most, due to research, have removed it from water.

If the feds wold fund the studies I'm sure they'd be available. Milk Thistle is a good example of an herb that was studied abroad and is finally being used in ER rooms.

There are many others as well, but sorting the wheat takes much time due to the amount of garbage that does exist.

  • I wish she was my doctor

  • Nicely explained, it has helped me understand the subject better.

  • This is the first but I saw it last - the performance accent is not as pronounced here and I like that better. I like the real you. Sounds like you might be from New York or the East coast. I love these videos - get up and go and make more for us! Awesome. Thank you.

  • is she deliberately talking like that, or generally a sterotypical weird geeky scientist?

  • DoctoR RotcoD is a reflection of Modern Medicine: Loud (her voice), obnoxious (her attitude), a mess (her hair) and backwards (her name).

  • hahaha! thats great

  • Dr. Rotcod!!! Thank you sooo sooo much.. i was having a hard time learning all these metabolism & then I found ur video. It made much more sense now. Thank you & keep posting more videos!!!

  • Hi Doctor,

I have had a terrible time with fatigue in the past and after receiving no answers from my local GP, went on to experience a transformation in my health by taking loads of liquid Vitamin B complex along with other supplementation and an excellent diet of whole foods.

I think your videos are excellent and do a great job of explaining such profound knowledge that can arm us with what we need to have breakthrough in our health.

    Well done!!

    Ali

  • 6:39...hahahahahahahahahaha

    Bio 324 : (

  • Why would anyone put this kind of presenter?? It scares me away from the authenticity of this information.

  • This is not a presenter...this is a real medical doctor poking a bit of fun at how hard everyone has made simple biochemistry. Instead of Rocket Science, DoctoR RotcoD has turned things around and presents simple-to-understand RotcoD Science - simple enough for a cave man to understand! :-)

  • ps. Do you happen to know where Glutithione comes into the process? (Just started taking MaxGL and it had given me a bunch of energy.)

The presentation given by proponents indicated it was a key element to mitosis.

    (umm, I think. :)

  • Great question! Oxidation results in oxygen radicals (mostly peroxides -- these are highest in red blood cells and also made in white blood cells to destroy invading bacteria/viruses). Peroxides can destroy membranes. Glutathione is a POWERFUL anti-oxidant and serves to detoxify (neutralize) peroxides. Glutathione is regenerated by nicotinic acid (vitamin B3) in the form of NADPH. Again, nicotinic acid proves to be a VERY important VITAMIN!

  • @ODoctorRotcodO Okay, so proper oxidation results in oxygen radicals???? Do I understand that correctly? So, proper food oxidation would have a similar effect to using ozone therapy or intra-venous hydrogen peroxide, is it really that simple????? Then your blood and body fluids get oxygenated, wiping out the germs and increasing your ph at the same time, and the excess radicals get neutralized by the anti-oxidants like glutathione???? Is this right?? Anybody know??

  • Great presentation!

    Thanks.

  • Chronic Fatigue can be caused by Thyroid Disorders as well and no matter how much energy u pump yourself with, you wont feel better.

  • Without enough ATP (80 percent made from vitamin B3) the thyroid and every other organ is fatigued.

  • Hi Dr Rotcod,

I love your videos and am preparing myself to send them to colleagues...I am wondering, and please don't take this the wrong way, what are your credentials? With the way internet is today, I want to make sure that information sharing is of reliable credible sources. I know you are in New Zealand. I am in Canada. Where did you study and what did you study? What is your current job? Many thanks,

    BD

  • Hi Beatrice. Yes, I'm a bona fide medical doctor (general practitioner) with over a decade of practice.

  • You are a trip! I love your humor and way of explaining things and keeping my attention. I will look forwards to more of your video's explaining things like this. Keep it up! (The world need more people like you!)
