I got chills when she mentioned her son and the blind man. I feel that. I feel like if I serve others I'll want to live. Can't come to terms with my weaknesses
My 11 year old identical twin sister used to be suicidal. after 1 year of thereapy, i finnally saw a real beautiful smile on her face which made me smile :) 2 years later, she got hit by a car by a intoxicated driver...my life will never be the same without her.

I am an electrical engineering student at a major four year university in the united states, and I have written my story about when I attempted and failed at killing myself. People need to be aware of this, and maybe one day we can make a change in this society. This society is created in a way where one size has to fit all, and that's why we have suicides, because not everyone fits into the higher learning situation. alternalife(dot)blog(dot)com to view my story
@matlab22 You're strong, not only 'cause, in my opinion, committing suicide is a tough thing to do, but also, to survive and have the balls to tell the story!... dude, If you survived to this hard situations, maybe you should think that you havent finished what you have to do in life! I mean..life is life.. just treat it like sex and f--- it ! : )
So nice to see the positive response to this project a year after completing it for the awesome Carson J. Spencer Foundation. I'll never forget the inspirational people I met & interviewed in Denver...
I wouldn't put my parents through this struggle it's selfish.

I felt suicidal when I dropped out of college and I was very depressed from a long time afterward with serious mental health issues.
I am now a web developer and am doing fine now.

I got rejected from every college I applied to, I doubt any college kid has any reason why he/she should be depressed about anything.

@Gmancrap and you'd be wrong

I doubt it. These kids have so much going for them. Why don't they just stop and think about that? Find help on campus, there are campus doctors...

@jesstalon - Sorry for the confusion. That's not the actual note she received; just a photographic prop we used for the edit.
