BTW - the "Amazonian albino bitch" is cathy Richardson, apparently she played Janis Joplin on Broadway . They're gonna be on at the Electric Ballroom in Camden October 18/11 with Quicksilver Messenger Service (both played Rhythm 2008 & shared Dave Freiberg, the keyboard player & the drummer, & the guitarist with JS also played bass with QMS.

Gotta say I was there & thought they were pretty awesome (maybe you had to be there, but that's live music) David Freiberg was superb, and Paul Kantner - I've never seen anyone smoke so many ciggies - he must have done 2 packs in 90 mins - at one point, he went offstage , we were all joking that maybe he'd run out - he had -came back with a fresh pack!

First of all, what a sloppy bunch of wankers in this band, they DESTROYED EBD, but I'm glad that wasn't Grace out there, I was telling myself, but who's the Amazonian albino bitch howlin' in Grace's stead? It made me continue to watch the carnage as the ripped apart WR, and as I'm starting to imagine her naked she jumps up and down, and there it is! 8:58-9:00!

I've heard much worse from earlier incarnations of the band.

That having been said, they would probably sound much better with either Kristin Hersh or Tanya Donelly in Cathy Richardson's stead...
