@MegaMerrie Jeepers, it wasn't a movie. It was a BBC ghost story for Christmas some years ago based on a book by Dennis Wheatley. It was put onto dvd by demand from Rob fans. Just enjoy the hottie why don't you and forget about the rest.

I am not sure if I want to watch this movie... 2 days ago I had a nightmare about a spider, yesterday I found a large spider in my bathroom and I am so very afraid of spiders! I love Robert Pattinson, but I can't stand all the spiders walking all over him!!!

Ok here's the synopsis once and for all. Toby is hit by flak during a bombing run, leaving him a paraplegic with psychosis. He's in a nursing home fantasising about his aunt by marriage; her husband is dead. He thinks his psychiatrist is the devil and has to save julia by killing her. Thats about it. Oh, and he's arachniphobic and seeing the little devils everywhere.

@Branigan4ever This was never a movie. This was a BBC ghost story for Christmas based on a Dennis Wheatley novel called the haunting of Toby Jugg. And the ending is exactly as I said, because all the occult stuff was under-played in favour of the ghostly elements. Deluded Toby believes he's 'saving' Julia from the devil. And Hal is an instrument of the devil in the book and most of his patients are in his thrall.

@dewey4190 Never a movie????? .....Well don't tell Blockbuster that, because they are renting it to suckers like me. Yes, "Marley and Me" was a far superior MOVIE, and far better reviewed by critics, than this piece of crap. Certainly not a high point for Mr. Pattinson's career.

well Toby was in an accident during the war, paralyzing him from the waist down so he is sent to a sort of healing hospital and he is in love with his aunt! But she is having an affair with his 'doctor' . I also beleive he is going slightly crazy. And in the end he finds out for certain that she is having an affair with his doctor so he sorta kills her:P sorry if that still doensnt make sense lol i tryed.

I read this book when I was twelve and got totally creeped out. So when it turned up BBC2 I had to watch. That was the first time I ever saw Rob. I thought his acting good and the affected middle class accent (heavily put on) just right for a stiff upper lipped bomber commander. Very surprised when I realised Edward Cullen and Toby Jugg were one and the same--Rob. A bit disconcerting when he says Julia's name (for obvious reasons) and it sends a little thrill through me.
