@TheXGamingChicken I'm pretty sure it's your CPU. Arma 2 is meant to run on a quad core CPU not a dual core. I had the same problems when I had my Athlon x2 250. Now i have i5 2500k and no problems whatsoever.

got mine up and running at everything maxed out at 1920x1200 resolution. its not really graphically demanding its requires more cpu n only takes about 1gb memory in task manager so 2gb system with half decent gpu will work fine as long as your cpu is good.. its like the oposite of bf3 i got a hdd failing on me after so many years and it runs smooth to me on a gtx480 and a cheap amd 945cpu 2gb ram.. its a good game :D

i dunno why everyone thinks arma 2 needs a beast of a video card i find the game benefits more from cpu power and as long as your video card is not a budget one or from an old series does fine.

i say this because my 4850 ran the game looking nice... upgraded to 6950 and frames are more or less the same (heavy cpu bottleneck) and this misconception that Arma 2 needs a super computer is silly... a 4850 with the cheapest quad AMD is not a super computer!

given that the HD 6320 is a laptop chip i wouldn't want to tell you yes, and i cannot provide you any benchmarks, also dont know your RAM amount of the CPU.

i don't recommend serious gaming on any laptop as usually they aren't the best for gaming and you get considerably less bang for the buck, paired with a solid cpu it might be able to handle it but definitely not with many effects on.

your best bet would be to download the free version of the game and see for yourself.

your video is 512mb SM 5.0 and dx11 based, so it would appear that it could run the game but like i said i don't put much faith in laptops for gaming.

it would be quite the stretch, like i said try the free version out and see how it runs and if it runs ok you may want to pick up the full game + expansion, then you can run mods etc

no harm in trying the free version! i would think you would get pretty low performance but maybe on lower settings with low visibility (its not as bad as it sounds, rarely do you need to see super far in the game world) it would be over 24 fps and playable enough for casual gaming.

@ghos7bear BF3 is also running a lot less behind the scenes. With ARMA it has to run all the sim aspect, and then run all the dynamic ai for the entire 200km map. Not to mention the graphical aspect.

bf3 45 fps on ultra, 60+ fps on low.... arma 2 28-50 fps on highest settings, with 5k view distance (depending heavily on the mission and situation)

bf3 is very well optimized and more eye candy then anything else, arma 2 is a behemoth of a game with much scripting / AI / view distance. BF3 likes to have a very nice video card and can deal with a weaker cpu. Arma 2 likes a good video card but only to a certain point and benefits more from a very fast cpu.

No prejudice at all, i had BF2 on my PC, with all addons, BF is a game in which your only objective is to capture a flag and hold it until you get overrun by the enemy (totally unrealistic). In OFP and ArmA the amount of possible objectives: infinite, the amount of scenarios: infinite, user generated mods addons and missions: infinite (check ArmADB), the size of AO: to large to cover, realism: at every corner, the price: 1/4 of what EA wants for a game 5 years old now.

The reason why Arma 2 takes alot isn't so much becuase of the graphics it's the CPU. It has to process alot of information on what your doing, the AI are doing, etc etc it's really not like Crysis in this aspect.
