This movie is amazing..... it is really touching and really shows the calmness of a true master.... the hero is really fit for the role... have never seen such calmness and that mastry in other actors in recent past...... really awsome.. the general was also really good .... the characters were superb...... For me the best part about this movie was the ending. A little kid came to Ip Man and says:

" How much to learn martial arts from you?"

Ip Man: "What's your name?" (I didn't even know who it was suppose to be until... he did that thing with his nose."

Ip Man: "Why do you want to learn Martial Arts?"

in reality Yip man never fought in front of 3000 people against a karate man that is just for movie purpose. Just because huo yuan jia ( the master from fearless) fought the Japanese doesn't mean that all chinese master had fight against other style. One thing for sure, Yip man certainly never fought against a caucasian boxer in Yip Man 2. Just because bruce Lee fought different style doesn't mean Yip man also did it. In fact without bruce lee, nobody will know Yip man

and only a fool would believe that the japanese armies raised a white flag because of only 2 atomic bombs. The truth is it was a combination of a lot of things, including the atomic bombs themselves. The fact that MOST of Japanese armies were tied on the mainland and forced to fight its ongoing war surely contribute to the demise of Japan in ww2. Japan couldn't afford to lose China due to its political, labor and economic importance. Just give credit when it dues....

The thing about this movie is that the fight choreographs are abit too fast and simple especially at the end fight. But I guess it's due to the Wing Chun style that fights are supposed to be over swift and clean.
