Norwegian Military Tattoo 2008 Norwegian Anthem

This Norwegian anthem has nice music. But as a Marxist I cannot accept a monarchist anthem. This anthem is royalist and monarchist, that is why it cannot be the anthem of a Norwegian socialist workers republic. How nice the melody maybe, monarchist anthems I don't like. But I like the melody of the Norwegian royalist anthem.

When I hear this beautiful anthem, I think of my grandmother and grandfather who came to America from Norge and who taught me to sing this anthem when I was a little boy. I can't help but shed a tear for love of them and for Norge.
