That spider is about 8 inches from leg tip to leg tip. Some of the big, heavy-looking bugs shown here are 6-8 inches long, while the really long, thin ones get well over a foot! :-O

Scorpions are actually Arachnids (spider family), not insects (Hexopods)... However, there were lots of things at this insect fair besides insects. This year's fair is this weekend (May 14,15) so if you're near L.A. check it out! :-)

Indeed some of the comments are priceless XD Ironically, even avid insect fans often kill-off large numbers of them, be it ants, spiders, roaches or whatever other kind of "undesirable" bug crosses our path or invades our home, so I expect a certain amount of insect hate.
