Currently there is a documentary film called "taxi ride to the darkside" by Alex Gibney. discovery bought the rights, never aired it. then HBO bought the rights has aired it a few times. I suggest people watch the film, there is literally a smoking gun saying we tortured an afgan man to death and say cause of death, homicide is checked off and signed by an army brass.
Torture was not "necessary" until 911 because the govt's account of 911 didn't match reality, thereby requiring false confessions. The only fraud bigger than 911 perpetrated on the American people is our unconstitutional, inherently fraudulent monetary system built on money created from thin air, while still allowing interest to be attached to it.

There hasn't been an Islamic terrorist attack in the United States since 9/11/2001 and perhaps it's because the U.S. government has used all of its capabilities to upset the terrorists' objectives.
