@CASSINOx car has been amazing, love it. as for your dilema, some things to look at. the mini is more practical if you have kids or plan on it in the future. gas mileage wise, mini wins again; BUT as top gear has proved, an m3 can get better gas mileage then a prius lol. as for the drive, they both are good but very different; one fwd the other rwd. another thing to look at is adding power; lots of parts for both, but the mini is limited by fwd i personally wouldnt go much more than 250hp.
i bought a used 2005 mini cooper sc and have had nothing but problems with it. car has only 80,000km and has already had O2 sensoers replaced, FUEL PUMPED SHORTED OUT AND ENGINE BAY CAUGHT ON FIRE!!, tie rods replaced, and 2 faulty tire pressure sensors. Just to list a few. i think its a nice car but there are more reliable ones out there
@1998232v6 I have a SC and even if (in the paper) it is slower than the turbo, it sounds way better and the driver has more fun ;) i've drived both, and I better like the SC
i wish the mini went 0-60 in around 4.5 seconds, not 6ish /=

I like the SC version way better than the Turbo version...maybe because it makes more noise

yeah ive driven both and the sc motor just seems happier than the turbo motor. plus i never complain about hearing a sc whine lol
