Puppy Mills are terrible! My local pet store rescued a bunch of dogs from puppy mills and are having a thing where people can adopt them but first they do a background check then they come to your house to make sure your a good home for it. We were going to get this one dog but someone else got it first and now im getting a dog this weekend! ANIMALS HAVE RIGHTS!

Puppy mills exist but there are also good breeders who aside from farming, they breed puppies for a living. Why don't you and litafan show or talk about that. The good breeders and the good petstore. The reason this video was made was to alert people to the fact that puppy mills DO exist, and they are often suppliers to popular pet stores. Take a walk down Halsted in Chicago, and let me know where you think the dogs in the windows came from. Better yet, go to ANY pet store in Florida and let me know where those animals came from.
Or, even better, go to PetSmart or PetCo. Everyone knows those animals come from horrible conditions, with the exception of the animals that are adopted out by rescues. I only support one pet store, and it does not sell animals. I also run a rescue for animals that people like you throw out like trash. I boycott every store that sells animals, I sign petitions against them, I let people know what's wrong with selling animals like commodities.

Pet stores do not hide information on where the puppies they sell come from. By law, this info is clearly posted in the window where they sell puppies. The name of the breeder and where they came from. Customers are welcome to contact these breeders if they want to get info on these puppies.

Because they don't have to pay to replace them, duh. When an animal dies in a pet store, it's stored in a fridge. Ask your friends about it. Hamsters, gerbils, chinchillas, birds, all wrapped in paper towels and put in a plastic bag until they return them for store credit. So you're wrong, the stores don't lose money on ill animals, the people who give them to the stores lose money. Everyone knows that.
