I am in the minority here,maybe its the acoustics then but I dont like it sung so forcefully as this.what is it about todays singers that they feel they have to beat the leather off everything, give me Dusty version any day.this is my fav song of hers so probably too biased for my own good.

That was right about where I was sitting. The sound on the video doesn't do Mica justice. She absolutely smashed it.

Have to agree that Mica was the best on the night, the sound doesn't do her justice - I was in the choir sat at the back and I only wish we could have sang backing on it.

@LiamCoughlin It was absolutely fabulous and best vocal of the night, hands down! I think Mica should record it for her new album. It'll fit right in with the direction I heard it's taking :-) Perhaps embelish the "with you" at 2:50 a little bit with some ad-libs for extra emphasis.

@LiamCoughlin I only wish this hall didn't have such attrocious acoustics. The camera just exacerbates the echo. Mica tore the house down. I followed a link from this page to Dusty Springfield forum (they embedded my vid) and there appears to be a general consensus. Meesh was the best. I only wish she had closed out the show!!

I was in the choir behind all the performers. A magical night. Mica Paris gave me chills with this...Rick Astley was brilliant and all the performers were received well. The choir's favourite that we performed was Boy George's You Don't Have To Say You Love Me....loved his hat!
