I was so very impressed with this man. I was on the fence about Occupy for a long time. We are not organized where I come from in West Virginia though I wish I could do something. Listenig to men like this is what changed my mind about what I would like to do. Occupy is needed. We must stand up for our rights. What Captain Lewis is saying boils down to this: "Cops get violent because the demonstrators insult them." In other words, police brutality is the demonstrators' own fault. This has been the theme of several of his interviews since his arrest. My guess is the cops read the riot act to him while he was in custody. So, I'm not sure why everybody is getting so excited about this gentleman.

What Captain Lewis is saying boils down to this: "Cops get violent because the demonstrators insult them." In other words, police brutality is the demonstrators' own fault. This has been the theme of several of his interviews since his arrest. My guess is the cops read the riot act to him while he was in custody. So, I'm not sure why everybody is getting so excited about this gentleman.

We've got to be real smart about this. Ultimately, cops are workers too; and without being sheeple, we need to build alliances wherever we can.

Then, cop apologists such as Captain Lewis turn around and blame it all on the 5% of protesters who perhaps do say a few unkind words to cops. It's true that a cop is objectively a worker, but he/she is subjectively an agent of state repression. That's why many soldiers join protesters in Arab countries, but very few cops.

In fact, just the other day, Rudkowski was interviewing Icke about how the Illuminati are building a world government.
